Just priced up some flights over Christmas and the extras equalling luggage and checking in with infants equalled £155. The flights themselves are £525. That makes £700 when you factor in booking costs for 2 adults and 2 children. These flights were released today so not really cheap. I am waiting for some other airlines to offer seats in the hope they would be cheaper.
I think the key word here is 'Christmas'
'Christmas' and 'cheap' do not often appear together in the same sentence and with good reason.
What makes you think anyone else is going to be any cheaper?0 -

Last Christmas some Ryanair flights were dirt cheap - I paid €10 (including taxes) per person to fly to the UK on 21st Dec, and £10 (including taxes) per person to return on 30th Dec.
I bought these about 5-6 weeks in advance - so you might get them a lot cheaper this year if you wait until November... on the other hand it might cost even more or even be sold out. It's just the luck of the draw really.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks

Ryan air 819 each way
Ryan air current offer to Lithuania
4 of us return flights 130 Euro total

total 154 Euro
20yrs ago Dublin to Birmingham was 220 punts each way per person A,ling and .B.a.
now November on current offer
4 of us rtn 50 Euro
hand luggage only.
cant see why people complain about them,in Ireland we don't have the choice of cheap airlines that you do but without Ryan air most of us would be back on the boats to come and visit family in the UK and forget the rest of the Europe that would be dream land only.WAS DEBT FREE & STILL BAAARRRRRKING

From 3rd June, Ryanair will also introduce an online name change facility which will allow passengers to make name changes up to 24 hours before travel. This service was previously only available through the Ryanair call centre.

I made a mistake inputting a name (using a form filler is not always a good idea!) when booking a Ryan air flight ....their online name change facility wanted to charge me £80 to change the name 2 minutes after the original booking ...the flight only cost £74 in total."Doing nothing is very difficult..........you never know when you're finished!"0 -
i used to work on ryanair check in at EMA as well as other companies (officially worked for servisair who handle firstchoice, thomson etc as well) and the boarding proceedure we had was as follows (for ryanair and easyjet)
Passengers requiring assistance onto the aircraft (such as people with disabilities) are seated first.
Then passengers with children (officially its ckids under 12 but many people argue thier 16 year old is indeed a child!)
then people upto seat number 31
then people seated 31 - 61
and so on
they also brought out the "A" "B" "C" rule - which is basically the same as above, seats 1-31 are section a and so on
so if you ever do fly with ryanair - dont bother paying for priority boarding - just check in early to get in the first section and you can pick the seats first
(learnt LOADS of tips at EMA saved me loads!)0
