Can't you only order from Vonage direct though if you actually sign up for their service ?

    Thanks

The adaptor is 'free' with Vonage but you could sign up and then cancel. See Vonage terms below:

7.2 This Agreement commences on the date that Vonage first accepts your order. The Service provided to you under the terms of this Agreement is offered on a monthly basis for a term that begins on the date that Vonage activates your Service and ends on the day before the same date in the following month.
7.3 Subsequent terms of this Agreement automatically renew on a monthly basis without further action by you. If you want to end the Agreement you must give Vonage written notice of non-renewal of the Agreement at least 10 days before the end of the monthly term.

If you cancel though you have the activation fee to pay (not sure how much this is) and also the disconnection fee (£23.99) to pay though.... :(

Wife has returned from Comet with the unit and very nice it is too. Much smaller than the pictures indicate (approx 4" X 4" X 1"). Comes with a stand, 2 RJ11 to RJ45 adaptors and Vonage 'user' guide:rotfl: .

    Gavinp,

Ok I am almost ready to go now. I have the bin files, a tftp server, instructions and wife has picked up the adaptor. i have been using 'Dixons' Freetalk adaptor and the service is excellent (but costs £7/month). I also have Sipgate & Voipbuster accounts for X-lite.

From your earlier posts I believe the 'Vonage' unit has 2 phone ports e.g. Sipgate inward calls and Voipbuster calls out. Can I set it up so that my 4 cordless phones (all linked) can receive calls & make calls rather than say 2 phones for inward & 2 for outgoing?

This isn't something I've tried yet...

The BroadbandReports site also has a thread dedicated to "tips and tricks" for Sipura adapters which are almost identical:

    Thanks

Must have been someone else in a thread I read recently. Thanks for the Sipura tips link.

It would appear that the firmware has been removed. Could someone who has already downloaded it PM me?

    Thanks,
