think that latest offer is for the US. I found the MOS advert and it said that this could not be combined with another offer.
It was actually Ros's PA that I spoke to and all the queries do initially go through her - she did say they would have to look further into everything if it went any further. Ros was out of the office.:T0 -
I hate to say it but I really dont think you hev a cat in hells chance with this ( I really hope I am wrong)

I hope you hear something back soon from her Nortoang!
I still haven't received THE Call (yet).
I did the online check-in yesterday as I said and received this email today:
However, I know it doesn't mean a thing with regards to them being able to up-the-price.
Has anyone else got an update yet on their situation?
Hi
I was unable to scan the paper today, will try again tommorow also I too had checked in as a ssg and told them it would be our anniversary whilst we were there. I have been told that we are in a contractual state and they are trying to put us back to not being in a contract, has anyone contacted there credit card company to see what can be done? no response from watchdog as yet. Please is you have booked put your name forward so we can say x amount are planning to take you to court, believe you me as the claims will be for less then £5000 each they wont want to waste the time, it appers very easy to use small claims court but we must try to let them hounour the deal before we go down that road. havent time for spell check pizza is burning :A0 -
Hi, I havent contacted my credit card yet, will do today and will let everyone know.
Can't believe their T&C's leave it so open they could say this is an event beyond their control - I think it is in their control, they should have a system that works and not penalise the customer when it doesnt. grrrrrrr:T0 -
I have had independent advice over the phone from 2 solicitors about this. I have been told that my internet booking and credit card payment constitutes a contract and in their opinion a judge should uphold it. The only problem they saw is that Sandals offered me a refund.
I am currently waiting to find out if they will finance my case.
Sandals state they made a 'mistake' a definiton of this is a wrong action attributable to bad judgment or ignorance or inattention; "he made a bad mistake"; "she was quick to point out my errors".
However as they seem to do this so often to so many people is it a mistake or deliberate?0 -

It's a mistake. I don't understand why people would think otherwise.
It's a mistake. It's not a Scam.
Your only hope is sufficient exposure would make someone at Sandals realise there is a tipping point where the negative exposure outweighs the money lost by honouring their mistake.
Any solicitor who takes on your case is either not an expert in travel law, or confident that Sandals will cave in. I'd try and find out which one.0 -
