To add a few more details - I booked direct on the phone with them Monday morning (and had a confirmation email - luckily!)and yet got the same phone call last night. The problem was that it combined a 2 nights free + 2for 1 offer - which is not out fault, they should be seeking compensation from the software vendor, the programmers or whoever is in charge of the website - not the customer.
I have a direct line for one of their managers that I am going to call today but thought I should check on this site first. I think we should get Martin and watchdog involved -well i'm going to damn well threaten it anyway!
let me know how you get on or if you want the phone number. I'm also going to start a new post to see if we can find anyone else in the same situation - the girl on the phone said there was quite a lot!:T0 -
We paid £1873 for both of us in Antigua in a concierge venetian oceanview suite but when they phone me they said i could have the lowest grade concierge suite the honeymoon luxury concierge room for an extra £660. i've had a look on the website today and the price for the honeymoon luxury concierge room come up as £2,229 an extra £356 - where did they get the £660 from is what i'd like to know!
I'm steaming mad:mad::T0 -

I paid a £300 deposit and also had an email conversation detailing room type and price:T0

contact Ros (travel solicitor) of Holiday Truths on Monday
Can you cancel and re book at the price now on the web iste?
Its still a good price I looked for October and its half the tour ops price so still a good deal and it would save tons of stress.
We have decided against it because 1 it looks too big...the old Sandals was much smaller and 2 its hurrican seasonIf you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel0 -
thanks i'll try to contact her on monday. i don't want to cancel and rebook in case we get the same problem with booking on the website and i don't think i should pay more. i think quite a few people have had this problem and it isnt the customers fault. i thought we'd risk a hurricane - especially as they have a guarantee. thanks for your help, i'll let you know what happens:T0

I too booked on the phone on Monday but have not yet had that dreadful phone call. This is a shocking thread to discover as you would not expect such a HUGE error from one of the world's most recognised resorts.
The price seemed too good to be true and when they have still not taken the 300 deposit from my bank account, it all makes sense reading these posts.
It is disgusting but they will a have a fight on their hands. A HUGE fight! :mad:0
