Raph hope you have a great time at the concert! Cross fingers that it finally works out for you next week Suggs too!
Finally got in from the concert (lost my keys in the taxi!!) Just uploading some photos onto my thread.
It was fab, loads of the old favorites, Bat & Paradise amongst them. Plus the amazing Patti Russo as his co-singer, her voice always sends shivers up my spine. Shes amazing!

LOL at your trainer Raph - are there not plenty of places to run outside too?! :rotfl:
Haha, that hadn't occurred to me!! I suppose most people are more confortable to run in a gym, whereas walking-no one really notices you, but everyone looks are you run past.

    Hiya everybody!

Hope you're feeling better today Lysasparkles. I'm impressed that you used to do triathlons, what distances were you doing? I have to admit I didn't find yesterday an enormous challenge, I think that's because it's not much different in terms of stamina/effort than what I have already been doing anyway. Obviously as it was my first time doing the 3 together I wanted to keep it manageable though :) Hope your planned bike ride and wii sesh goes well today :p

Still going strong Kymrob! Well done! :D

I've been given a reprieve from doing the washing by hand today, a very kind person is doing a washing load for me :D Machine has been certified a 'goner' so I'll be looking for a new one next week. I certainly have a new appreciation for how things must have been in the 'old days', and that's only after 2 weeks of washing by hand never mind everything else!

Exercise wise I'm planning an hour on the cross trainer this evening as that seemed to work well last week, then something fairly light (or medium) tomorrow. Already had my rest day this week on Thursday :)

    thanks missy!

i got what i thought was s pam email through my pm box this week - it turned out to be a journalist asking me for a quote on something i posted about on another thread AGES ago. I sent him some info and now he wants to 'include me as a case study'. unfortunately, he wants a photograph. the only photo i could possibly send him is the one i put on my facebook page - which for those of you who haven't seen it, is a formal posed photo from a black tie do. Is that a bit much?

I don't know how, but I completely missed your post Suggs!!!
Huge congrats! That is amazing work, 44.5% total weight loss!!
You know on those weight loss tv shows, where at the end the person puts on a fat suit weighted down with how much they've lost. Be interesting to see if you could carry all that again!!
