and feeling a bit more cheerful, doubt I'll have another as I will spend the rest of the evening asleep :rotfl: :rotfl: but being surprisingly resiliant and have got tea on the go and hung the washing up - a few months ago and I would have completely gone to pieces having to face something like this

granny, you are NOT ALLOWED to show restraint in the presence of champagne and chocolate, especially when they gang up on you like that.
kenny and mot, thinking of you both.0 -

so the chart: big congrats to all our losers this month. Our sotw is jointly shared with Annie021063 & kymrob, who are also our sotm
. A superb job you two.
Highlighted in blue are all our peeps who suceeded in our monthly 5lb challenge - well done all. Special mention for starlight who today reached a magnificent 11 st lost.
I have included the whole chart this week that shows everyone's weekly losses for the month so you can see how your month has progressed. And remember, those who aren't losing big time every week, 1lb a week does slowly mount up over the weeks and the months.
Any errors - let me know your weight loss this week and what your total loss should be.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
I'd like to SEE Everest one day. I don't think climbing it is in my future though PLG
Hiking in that part of the world would be lovely. I'd love to see the Annapurnas too.
MOT - gosh, sounds stressful. Good on you for bearing upHope everything works out OK.
Well I've managed a 1 mile run this evening and a bit of cycling with my son. I would have liked to do the 3.1 miles (5km), but it would have taken a massive effort and I think I need to give the ol' muscles a rest now before Friday. My pace was faster over the mile though for what it's worth
Oooh just seen the chart go up! Thanks BB & congrats to the MANY who deserve it whether that's a loss, STS or gain(as we all know there IS such a thing as a positive gain!)
Here's to the next week!0 -
May as well be the first post for next week's chart as I'm just back from class...
2lbs off for me please BB
I'm happy with that as I wasn't as good as I could have been..... must try to do better next week.
Well done kymrob and Annie SOTW and SOTM:T
It won't be me next week -but maybe the week after!Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.0 -
Vix - you sound so down about this - it's easy for us all to be positive when we are all doing what it takes but I know how you feel - just sometimes it is good to be realistic, but don't get too down about the weight thing. Sometimes it is just the wrong time and when the right time comes you won't look back.:A :A
Fit flops - they are quite good but I personally think that MBT trainers are better as they make the whole leg work.
Mumoftwins - that sounds hairy - I don't know your story but have another glass of wine and try to keep smiling;)
I'm feeling a bit demotivated this week -- I think the trip to Germany was food I usually don't have so it knocked my blood sugar off it's healthy path and I am craving all sorts of rubbish and my exercise mojo has gone for the moment. I need to give myself a kick up the back side and get back to it - tomorrow is another day!
Kenny - hope your doggy does OK - try some arnica in his water post op - it really helps with the bruising and trauma - especially in an older dog. I always used to find that Rescue remedy helped my little dog too ( he's now an angel in doggy heaven after making it to 16 and 1/4!).:A
