A gain of 6lbs this week (blasted medication! still could be worse it was 8.5lbs on Monday!), it looks like when I took the tumble downstairs I have sprained/strained the bicep in my right arm and wrenched my back/right thigh as well (oh and twisted the shattered right ankle again!)
Oh Dragon! You poor thing!! Hugs for you :grouphug:Debt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!

hi all!
well done to everyone who has lost weight this week i weighed myself on sunday and have lost 1lb which i suppose is better than nothing and it is my first week!
tried the green tea and its not nearly as bad as i thought it would be! gutted this week as ive had cold and not really been able to exercise..feeling better today so think i'll go out on my bike.
just wondering has anyone tried fitflops or those MBT trainers which are supposed to tone up your legs?:eek:Aug £10 a day £0/£10000 -
Vix, don't give up, please stick around and carry on trying. If what you are doing now means you maintain, imagine what would happen if you stopped doing it x :eek:0

Evening all,
Lots of losses this week - well done everyone:j
Commiserations to everyone who gained. Dragon - I was sorry to hear about your accident I hope you get well soon!
LysaSparkles - I've seen those shoes in Japan too. Don't know anyone that has them though, have to say I'm sceptical about them. It would be interesting to hear from anyone that's tried them out.
I went out on a "mystery cycle" this afternoon. I had no idea where I was going (I just headed off in a certain direction and carried on going!). I ended up at a park and took the opportunity to try out my new digital SLR
I cycled for over 2 and a half hours - hopefully I can keep that up for the rest of the week
Here are my fav pics from today:"Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?" (Douglas Adams)0 -
nice pics plg - good idea too, have a mission in mind.
Poor dragon! I hope you aren't in too much pain. You are such a fighter! Vix don't head off anywhere. I got really disheartened with the wl thing and i'm still in the position where i weigh more than when i started however. However, being on the thread not only helps me stay on the straight and narrow, but it's fun too. I've really benefited from coming off my usual plan and switching to something completely different - it's made me think more about what i do. If you don;t want to exercise, and you don't like exercise, then don't do it. You have maintained an almost constant weight level for as long as we've known you, and thats without even really trying. MAybe this is the weight you are meant to be and you should try to maintain?0 -
Thanks everyone. I wish i had an ounce of your motivation and drive.
i dunno what to say0 -
really tired and stressed today, have to take my baby (my dog lol) to the vets tomorrow for an operation, i only found out i had to take her in last night during a routine checkup, vet isnt sure if its an ulcer or a tumour..........
ive had her 4 years (my best friends grans dog, she was taken into sheltered housing and the dog was going to be put down, so we took her)
she is 15 this december and also has a heart murmer so im not happy she has to go under for the op but it needs done, my work were like "o this is very short notice, dont know if we can give you an annual leave day for it" so i said i was going to do it either way so i got the day off.
will be on bike tonight.
keep in good spirits everyone, its all too easy to get dragged down sometimes.................0 -

Why not give yourself a complete week off and then see how you feel?I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
and dont worry about what anyone else thinks if you give up on the Wl, the decision is yours and yours alone, at the end of the day only you can decide if your letting YOURSELF down, and if you honestly believe the answer is no, then dont let anyone tell you different.0
