oh did i mention that i read somewhere that as a pear shape one of the worst exercises you can do is stepping?

What is my method of exercising? sodding stepping!! Apparently you should build up the upper body and all that. Forgotten the rest!

    vix,

Found an interesting article here about exercises for pear shaped women http://ezinearticles.com/?Best-Exercises-For-Pear-Shaped-Women&id=641261 Unfortunately I'm also one of them  Cycling is on the list of recommended exercise :j thank goodness as it's the only exercise I enjoy doing :rotfl:

    missy,

Well done on your progress with the breakfast challenge. I'll be interested to hear your final conclusions!

    Brighton Belle,

It's a 1 kilo loss for me this week. I've finished up work now so I'm hoping to get out on my bike every day this week so hopefully I can make my mini target of 9 kilos next week. Thats a total loss of 7 kilos for me.

Wow! it's taken me ages to catch up!

As you can tell I'm back from the Netherlands but I have sunburn!!!
The weather was gorgeous, and the food was healthy and great tasting so I am hoping that I won't have to worry about gaining.

Congrats all you losers and extreme congrats to Starlightfor rounding off yet another stone.

beanie, That DS game thing is called my health coach, I'm gonna have a look into it as the DS is something I take everywhere like this weekend at the monastery where it was my only electronic sanity lol.

Suggs, I have to admire your for the 10k I chickened out of a 5k lol

Lois, My dad is a stroke survivor and he is in his 70's , when he was in hospital there was a young guy in the bed next to him who was a father of young children and I saw the difficulties he had even with the great care etc they receive at the specialist unit, it obviously wasn't easy for him to come to terms with.
Right I best get off to work !!

    catch you all later
