FFM - I'm done eating now so final score was brekkie 31% today (highest % since we started this). I am again happy on fewer calories than I'd allocated for the day (43 under) :) Feeling great and not a hint of hunger all day long :D
do you think that's the breakfast keeping you full missy?

Too early to tell really BB - I felt full and just as good yesterday and that was on only 20% brekkie, whereas Saturday I was hungry after a 25% brekkie.

Typical for me really - no consistency or pattern to it at all! :rotfl: I'll give it to the weekend though and see if any conclusions can be drawn by then :) I'm enjoying it as an experiment though :D

I'll cross my fingers for you for Friday BB! If you take things easier till then hopefully you will be OK!

glad you found the recipe bbelle - speedy will be pleased to know that people are interested in it. have temporarily rediscovered the joys of packet soups whilst calorie counting -near enough a litre of florida veg sou has about 100cals and 3 g fat in it. Of course, there's no other nutritional valuein it either, but that itsn't the point, is it?

Hello everyone - another flying visit I'm afraid. I really don't know where the time goes as I seem to have so much to do lately! I shouldn't complain because a year and 7 stone ago all I ever did was sit in a chair and watch the telly! :o

Anyway delighted to report a 1.5 pound loss this week. I am very pleased with that because I ate a frozen pasta ready meal out of my freezer BEFORE I checked the syns - will never do that again because it turned out to be 24 syns of a green day:eek:  and the following day it was my DD1 birthday and there was an incident with a chocolate trifle. The trifle lost;) !

This week my girls are taking me to see The Jersey Boys in London - I am so excited and looking forward to it!:D The following week is our wedding anniversary and we are off to Ghent for a few days so I am going to have to try very hard to be good.

Sorry for not posting very often but I do try and read the posts every day. Really impressed with the runners - maybe one day...

    Love to all

  • missyg, I had another large breakfast of 408 cals, which would have been 28% of my daily calories if I hadn't been tempted by some whoopsied seed rolls in Waitrose tonight + a piece of choc fudge cake and cream (which was not planned) - this dropped my breakfast total to 21%.

I think the 'supersize breakfast' approach would work if 'hunger' is the key to what makes you eat. I don't eat because I am hungry, I eat because I want to. The way I space my food out throughout the day means that I do not get hungry.

I don't think I can manage another supersize breakfast as it makes me feel so sluggish and bloated. Really sorry missyg :o

I wish I had the time to fit in all the cycling that you do, the weather was lovely here today and I was stuck in the office :(

Efrieze - your duathlon looks like fun, hope you can get a bike.

BB - if I was to concentrate on all those pointers on how to ride a bike properly, I think I would fall off. :rotfl:

Lois - I hate green tea with a vengeance - I bought a packet once because it was supposed to be good for you but it is horrid - funnily enough I drank it when I was dieting and if I had a 'bad day' I drank the green tea as a kind of penance - so it is interesting to read the effect it apparently has on your metabolism - maybe that is why my 'bad days' never did any real harm to the overall diet

    FFM :)

A GREAT loss Mick! Well done! :T Well done to fredsnail and Marion on your losses also! A wonderful feeling seeing another pound gone.

efrieze I thought that running time was pretty good, especially as it's you first outdoor one, well done.

Lois thanks so much for the link through to those 5 foods, I'm definately going for the green tea and sardines, anything to help me lose and to keep my blood sugar levels up. Thanks a lot.
