  • wow

just caught up on all the pages!

some great reported losses. and a gain which was welcome lol.

i weighed in and im still at 14 stone (196 pounds) down from 15 stone (210 pounds)

BMI gone from 26.5 to 25.16

not a bad drop but says anything over 25 is still overweight...........

didnt go on bike Friday night, but i did get my other half, my mum and my nephew a fish supper (cod n chips in england lol) while i had pasta that i made :-)

Saturday i was at the chinese state circus again with o/h and nephew, i only had 1 can of 7up and not a thing to eat, i was a good boy

Sat night i had chicken wraps (kinda healthy lol) and yesterday i had a burger for lunch (couldnt help it) but tuna pasta for dinner.

    still 14 stone (thankfully)

felt guilty about not going on bike on Friday night so i will be on it tonight, kinda missed it if im honest. so guess it was just a lapse in motivation.

ideally would like to lose another half stone (7pounds) just doesnt seem to be happening.................. /cry

......BIG pinch of salt mate, that's not a one-size-fits-all scale. There's no way I could be healthier at 25 than at 27. and I don't really want to get below 27 until I'm too old to be active.

Rather than try to squeeze that last 1 unit out of the BMI calculator, ask yourself if you're happy at 25 point something. If you are then cool. If you want more off then fine, but don't let some poxy graph rule your life.

OK weigh in details first and then I will catch up on everything else :D

    Overall 0.25lb gain
    Body fat down 0.2lb
    Water up 0.3lb
    Muscle up 0.1lb

It all feels good so no worries there, and all being well I would like to try for my mini triathlon challenge at the end of this week :)

I'm extremely happy with my current weight and fitness, but if I can lose a little more in advance of my holiday that would be great. I realise it might not happen because no matter what effort I've put in during the last 6 weeks I've pretty much STS! :p That will be fine though, if I have to blitz it when I get back I'll probably enjoy that challenge too :rotfl:
  • ill be honest, i still have a LOT of stomach fat which is by far the most fatty part of my body, i have relatively skinny wrists, forearms etc, but noticing some definition in shoulders,

ive no idea how i can possibly lose the belly fat........

    suggestions?

ps - your right about the chart, but i would still like to be 13 and 1/2 stone and healthy, fit

i dont do running, would this help in conjunction with the exercise bike? if so when should i do running? as youll know i do bike, Mon/Wed/Fri and try to leave 2 days between working my legs, would running on say. Saturday compromise this?

    any suggestions/ideas welcome

oh and sorry i didnt get a pic up at the weekend of before and after, i promise ill bug OH to help me tonight :-D

... whenever you're ready mate (and everyone else - no pics needed but a few words for the site would be great - Efrieze and I are feeling lonely)

Fair enough re the losing if you still have it to lose, but missy will be back in a minute... I know about as much about exercise as I do about meat or crocheting.

Kenny, as Ajax said. most of the england rugby team are overweight or obese according to BMI. Im still obese and I play rugby. So pinch of salt. Well done losing the stone. wish I could drink and not put on the weight :)
