Morning all, hope you all slept well and are feeling motivated

Trying to type onto word first, so I don’t lose the lot again, lol.

Pet, thanks for that and well done you, I can’t do that—thinking ‘diet’ or ‘calories’ is like a red light to my system to become voraciously hungry—makes your achievement doubly impressive, well done!!

Suggs, course it was you who upset me (actually can’t remember, but you know…). Just read your story—WOW, you look good mate, belated congrats on the marriage too, it’s good stuff, married life.

Kymob, well done too, that’s an impressive loss

LL, I remember the big wagon wheels, and they came in individual packs too

SueUU, have you tried low-cal chocolate? It seems a shame to cut out something that probably relaxes you. I have a decaf each night, and would hate to go without, lol.

Dellybelly, poor you, I hope it settles down, IBS really is a pain

Thank-you everyone!!! This is the first days for years (well apart from when camping….) that I haven’t weighed myself for years, and it’s cos I feel supported here. I know that becoming less conscious is the key for me, so thanks ever so.

Well done everyone who’slost or STS,

Have a good day, Jay xx
    Anytime;)

Oh god, I got cajoled into singing up for Facebok :(

I presume you were typing the above one handed ;);) :rotfl:. I loved the bit about Telebid, the thing that really annoys me though is that I didn't think of it first!!!!...

...My last pair of specs cost me just under £450 3 years ago, the frame was only £99 but the rest was because of the prescription I need, or so they say. So when I had my eyes tested last year there was only a small change I refused to buy new ones especially as I just don't like the rectangular ones that are the current fashion and refuse to pay out a lot of money again. I'm hoping that the fashion changes next year when I presume I'll need to buy some new ones...

...LL and FFM MrP considers himself to be a bit of a connoisseur of Wagon Wheels and is in complete agreement that they are considerably smaller the days...

    xxxx
I wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latter :p but my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!
  • Why do they call it a sleep over, it's really just an 'over'. The lads finally went up at midnight, don't know what time they got to sleep (if they did), back downstairs and onto the PS3 at 6.30am

As OH had kindly fitted my free Kellogs cyclometer yesterday I thought I would give it a try. I did 1 hour 30 minutes cycling and covered 14 miles - not particularly impressive, but it's all these hills (mental note to move back to Norfolk some time) - I didn't get off to walk once - just used the good old granny gear. Top speed 25miles per hour (obviously down one of those hills), average speed 9.45 miles, can't get the little gadget to switch off now

I had 1 breakfast before I left (7.15) and my 2nd when I got back (8.45) - sorry missyg, I really couldn't push 2 breakfasts down in one sitting. Yesterday, my huge breakfast made up 24% of my total calorie intake - it possibly made me eat less as my total for the day was 1708cals which is low for me at the weekends - usually 2000+ This morning I had porridge followed by hm toast & hm pate (very yummy).

Now off for a long soak in the bath, 2 days cycling has made my butt cheeks sore/achey (too much detail? :o:o = looks like me from behind probably :rotfl: )

    FFM :)

Hi all! Hope everyone's feeling good!

The Haribos were probably a blessing in disguise - I was so annoyed with lapsing last night that I did a full hour on the cross trainer. Had a fab night's sleep and I feel extra super motivated today :D

FFM you're so cool! I wanted a cross section of my Friday bike ride :p It certainly sounds very hilly where you are, great exercise for the thighs though! Yes I quite agree eating a lot before a tough bike ride wouldn't have been a good idea - no need to apologise for that! Yesterday my brekkie ended up as 25% of total intake (after the pesky haribos), and today's will be 28% (there will be no lapses today, it's weigh in tomorrow!) I was hungry all afternoon yesterday - but I don't think that was down to the brekkie thing, it was just a rare anomaly day for me. Today will be a better indicator.

I'm on Facebook too Ajax, also got nagged into it, but it is fun to see what your friends are up to and find a few long-lost people! I check statuses most days and go on a 'wall writing' flurry once in a while :rotfl:

Hi Nemo101 - have you asked your personal trainer for advice? If muscle has increased and weight has stayed the same then you are almost certainly losing body fat which is a really positive thing!

KPC I only heard about this freak gale this morning. Hope you and anyone else near it are all buttoned down and safe.

    :)

...... oh no, don't show missy that, she'll never let it go :D Oh no she already thanked you... :( scared to scroll down now.... Wow, she appears to have let it go. Phew! She must be on a downer after the Haribo sugar rush.

i'm now at home with 24 muffins - carnival cancelled. My freezer is stuffed with cooked meats and breadcrumbs. I've already given some to the neighbours, but this is going to be a dangerous day. Any living nearby wants to come over for a right good muffin? Ajax, seeing as you're on boot camp should i save you a mini one?

btw can anyone answer my SW question? IS Special K bliss with chocoalte and berries a HEB at all?

Delly, rather belated but I like rotisserie chicken as Red Day lunch. I've put a few recipes on the recuipe thread but their often rather steak-y. If you go to www.britishturkey.co.uk, you'll find alot of recipes, some of which should be some use. I've put a really nice curried chicken one on the lw thread which one of our chefs developed. My company is up for 8 British turkey awards this year - go us!

I'm always too scared to point out typos in case I make a typo while I'm pointing them out :rotfl:

Love the Trigger quote btw, that's one of my favourites :D

How are you feeling this morning anyway Ajax, you OK?

Oh my^^ and there's a good reason for not signing up for Facebook :D

What happened to the rain? I've been conned! My OH told me it was going to rain all weekend so I commented that that would be a shame 'cos I was going to clean the car. Got up this morning and... sunshine? flipping sunshine!!!!!!!!

Congrats on the weightloss Sue :j

All this talk of meds recently reminded me that I started new meds about 6 weeks ago. Just checked the side effects and, yep, weigh gain can be one of them  . It would be sooooo easy for me to blame them but I know it's my inconsistant eating habits really :rotfl:

Shame I'm not near those free muffins  EDIT On the other hand they are very close and tempting :D

Hope everyone has a good day - guess I'm off to clean the car

.... you bloody well won't, if invites are out for KPC muffins, I want the biggest and moistest.

.....sorry mate, saw this this the other day and didn't know so left it. I can only say that I'd be amazed if they were a HeB.

... harsh, and not even remotely fair.

I'm very well thanks missy, just would rather not be working. Self-employed or milking the corporate cash cow, there's no denying that being where you want to be is better than being where you need to be, IYSWIM? :D How's thee? And how about that quote then? :)

I'll take it back if you tell, in all honesty, that you have a typical welsh singing voice... :p

And to be even harsher - I'm sorry about the result last night.

Actually that doesn't work 'cos I really, really am disappointed :(
