Erlqueen, do you mean a backwards walkover? I can still do those, as I discovered last year!
Crikey! yourself missyg, that's something I'd like to see.

FFMI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
Hey all.
Lots of exercise for me today, I jogged to my friends house with Shadow (2.32 miles), then walked back to mine with my friend.
After a few games of cards I walked her back with my bike and cycled home. So I've done 9.28 miles today, and got soaked & caked in mud on the cycle home.
Not going to the gym tonight, but I will stick my yoga DVD on later.

Mine was until I gained 4 inches in an afternoon!! :rotfl:
Kenny, my 2ps worth. If you're losing the motivation, maybe you should take a week off the exercise. Sometimes I lose the will to go to the gym so will have a week off for a break, and I don't feel guilty as I know after the week off I will go back and attack it with renewed vigor.
Sometimes you just need a break.

Almost a triathlon there Raph! Running, cycling and getting soaked!
Good point about taking a week off from exercise - it shouldn't do any harm at all. My exercise was sporadic for about 6 weeks during February and March, my muscle % didn't change by more than 0.8% during that time and I lost weight.
FFM - that's the spirit!I shall be proud of you too when I see your post tomorrow!
I treated myself to a curly-wurly today (within allowance of course). When the treats are few and far between aren't they just SOOOO enjoyable!0 -
I dunno how you can have a treat in a few and far between manner.
I do think that half of it is my diet why i crave chocoalte so much. I dont really like sweet things other than chocoalte so when i hit the afternoon perhaps i reach for a chocolate bar instead of something else to curb my craving.
Hope everyone is well. Im really tired and my feet hurt. 9 hour workout i think so! Plus had some really poo people to fit today, one woman was like missyg: nothing worked!got her into a wonderbra for godsake, the one thing that only works if youre 14-25.
Im watching yorkshire v lanc on the 20/20. Gotta support yorky cos of my daddy. Hope they win!0 -

Well I did have to cycle alongside the lake, and had a little wobble & for a second thought I was headed into the drink! :rotfl:
Ooh just out of interest, I was looking back in past threads for my first post, and was very surprised and pleased to see that I had set my end target as 14 stone, and here I am!Now looking past that and onwards!!

oh my god has anyone seen coleen and rooneys wedding pics?
For the amount of dosh they spent i was expecting wow, but i was dissapointed. Her dress was ming, really wasnt keen but at the same time thought it was passable. Rooney didnt even sodding shave!! If Matt turned up to marry me without shaving his face i would seriously not marry him. If he couldnt be arsed to shave for me then its a bad omen for the future in mi opinion.
His suit didnt look anything special, and i aint being funny but with the amount of money rooney earns he could have made him self look better. White freckly skin, unshaven face. Lord. He puts me off my dinner. Im sure hes a nice bloke, and the money would be amazing, but how could you lie there and enjoy taking it from him? yuck.0 -
Hi again,
I'm thinking of trying to have a kind of back-up diet that I can turn to when I need to so that I don't go off the rails when I need to stop. I'm running into a problem here as my cold has turned into a nasty cough/ sore throat. At the moment I'm trying to stay at around 25g of carb (not including fibre) per day. Yesterday's chicken soup was 18g:eek: . I'm also taking cough mixture (about 5g/dose 1 or 2 times a day, and I just allowed myself one soother (another 5g). I'm sticking with it at the moment, probably slighly over as I refuse to alter my veg portions to compensate, but I do find it really tough at times like these when I'm feeling a little under the weather - omlettes and chicken legs are not the most appealing when feeling a little sick!
I'm just in the pre planning stage, at the moment, but from reading other posts, I might try calorie counting. 1200 seems to be a good number but I'm completely new to this so would appreciate some guidence. I would like to include porridge (I miss this sooooooo much) and fruit. I think I will still stick with meat & veg (low carb) for evening meal, and I don't want to involve bread (my biggest weakness), I'll probably stick with ryvitas. Someone posted a link for a calorie counter not too long ago (so sorry, can't remember who) but if someone could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated. I'm really just thinking aloud at the moment but any input would be nice. Just want to allow myself a little of my comfort foods (porridge and chicken soup) when I'm ill without me going overboard. Not sure how it would work with the water retention thing, I think I'll just have to prepare for an initial 4 or 5lb gain, after all, it shouldn't really count as a loss in the first place.
I will go away and think on this one.£2008 in 2008 member 552 £1947 to go! (started 20/1/08) Total wins £61
