And he tells me and Suggs to get a room!

LOL not really and I didn't think Suggs had done 800. 'm' may stand for metre, it's what the Germans I deal with use, but they take their English from the Americans. I always use 'mtr' so it just looked really odd to me. So if it isn't 'm' then what is the shortened form of mile? also :rotfl:

m is definitely the shortened version for metre, as for miles, I have no idea either:confused:

according to this website the abbreviation for miles is in fact mi as Ajax already mentioned!

Suggs - lots of them - but I look and don't touch :p(usually). What's on the DIY menu for this weekend?

    :)

Dont touch?? I bet you do ;-) Does rugby count???

No DIY this weekend, unless tidying up and filling the cracks from last weekend and putting uPVC strips on the window edges. I have the kids this weekend, down to every three weeks now. Next weekend is the French Doors and then I am going to try doing a simple decking by the French Doors.

I missed out on a few interesting conversations…

Talking about doing the ‘crab’ ^^ I used to be able to do it from a standing position and I used to be able to ‘kick’ out of it to a handstand and then back to upright. So long ago now – my back is screaming at the memory

Also, love Pratchett but if I’d read Colour of Magic first I probably wouldn’t have gotten into him at all. Fortunately the first one I read was either Reaper Man or Mort so that was me hooked. I only watched half the sky adaptation. What an absolute waste of time and money. David Jansen (sp? Whatever – Frost :D) was so badly miscast I’m surprised Pratchett let it be released. Hogsfather was brilliant!

Up to the bottom of page 58 now :rotfl:

I came across an interesting article here on the BBC news website about the connection between breakfast and weight loss.

EDIT - This website is off topic - however it made me cry as I was laughing so much - check it out http://www.passiveaggressivenotes.com There's a lot of angry people out there :rotfl:

Petrichor you mean to say you lost your original 50lbs+ without a single gain along the way?! That is amazing. I had 2 gains in 38 weeks while I was originally losing. One was a multi-week gain on holiday and the other was 'unexplained' :p. I thought I'd done well till I read yours! :D I do have a different outlook to gains while maintaining though, I think it's normal and healthy and nothing to be shy or embarrassed about. So anyway... let us know how the tennis draw goes!..!

...Absolutely, swear on my daughter's life :o it's the reason why I bought scales that weighed in 0.2 lb stages and I didn't even have a sts either. I have a chart somewhere which I'll try to find. I think (my old diary isn't to hand )the worst week was a 0.4lb loss and I threw real paddy in true Petrichor fashion  :rotfl: I don't mind a gain usually now as I've got used to it, it's just sometimes depending on how I'm feeling and I'm very hard on myself at times and don't want to fail and regain it all as I have in the past...

...The tennis draw is quite boring this time. It hasn't thrown up any tantalising matches that I would class as being the pick of the first round, as is often the case with a grand slam tournament, not that that will stop me from watching whatever's broadcast :D ...

    xxxx
I wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latter :p but my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!
