Brilliant numbers Suggs! You're officially the most muscular guy I know :D The 0.4lb gain isn't a gain at all when you look at the breakdown. Well done on the treadmill time too, what's your personal best? As for looks and stares while out running, I'm way too thick skinned to care about that sort of thing :rotfl: I haven't noticed anyone laughing and pointing, but it'd be irrelevant if they did, I'm not doing this to look pretty I'm doing it to get fit :)

Kenny only you can decide if the effort you're putting in is worth the results. If it's not, I'd say scale back. If it's just the thought of exercise that puts you off but you're OK once you get going, then a good trick is to say you'll do just 10 minutes, and then promise yourself you'll stop after that if you're not into it. Feel free to rant away, it's what we're here for. Yes, there's always someone thinner, better looking and people who have things handed to them on a plate, but remember there are also always lots of people worse off who would love to be in your [strike]shows[/strike] shoes.... :) [typo sorry!]

Erlqueen, you can't seriously have thought I swam 750 MILES?! :rotfl: I didn't know the short form of metres was supposed to be "mtrs", I honestly thought it was "m" "mm, cm and m", I'm sure that's what I was taught  I'm really sorry :( I will try to make sure I spell out metres in future, if I forget then PLEASE someone correct me. I'd hate that someone thought I was cheating.

20 kilometres bike ride notched up today, after a bit of a false start and a trip to the bike service centre :D Time 59 minutes 18 seconds (I wasn't racing) over a slightly hilly route. Loads of traffic, I think I'll avoid Fridays in future for the longer rides.

    Bloomin' typos :rotfl:

I thought of you Ajax as I cycled past the venue for the Women's British Open earlier, they had the banners out the front. Any of your laydees going to be in it?

PLG - I'm amazed! So would 54kg be "just slightly" overweight in Japan, or actually considered obese?

    missy,

    Overweight - but not obese.

Shopping for clothes over her can be a bit of a nightmare - if it wasn't for some western brand stores I couldn't have survived as long as I have. The problem being that (generally speaking) Japanese women are shorter than western girls and don't have any curves.

What's really funny is that all my western mates are jealous of Japanese girls figures (as they want to be mega skinny like them) and all of my Japanese mates are jealous of western girls figures (as they wanna be tall and have curves). Classic case of wanting what you can't have. :rotfl:

Bilmey I nip out for a couple of hours to see a mate, who broke his leg and I miss the compliment :)

Yes that is my best time, but as I said I did have to pause for a minute.

So whats this about been a Winter Sportsman Trollop, just how many men are there :rotfl:

Now Now Ajax, could have sworn it was at least two lady golfers???

  • thanks for the comments guys

Ajax when you say the exercise is toning thats exactly what its doing, and im liking the toned effect on my legs and shoulders, but dont know i can maintain my current programme to keep it.

i dont hate exercise, but it does get in the way. and i have drastically changed my eating habits, im eating far more chicken and turkey and stir frys than i am pizza (1 in the past month) burgers (2 in the past month) pies (1 in the past month) and to be honest these with beans and bread were my diet!

i WILL get a before and current picture up over the weekend for you all to see the difference, maybe when i see it, it will give me more confidence to keep going!

havent weighed myself yet............. kinda dreading that part, cause you can still tone and put on weight........
