Who did the testing of your colleague kpc - dr's or sureslim? If sureslim I'd be very wary of such claims. If dr's then she has a medical problem that I would think nhs dietiticians should be involved in. For a foodie like yourself you'd hate something like this I would have thought: 800cals a day!! So what happens when she's lost the weigt. Ist guess is it all goes back on plus some.

Makenna - welcome to the thread. I know nothing about diet pills, but feel lois's advice is spot on. We all know what it is like to feel desparate about your weight at some point, so you're in good company.
Vix, I agree about men in suits. Yum:D

I am gutted. Just been on the treadmill which had magicallyt converted itself to miles instead of km and I didn't know how to change it back. So I ran 3.05 miles thinking this was 5km and then googled it and found I have only done 4.9km. As I did a personal best time on 28 mins and 2 secs i was well impressed but now that time doesn't count. If I grossed the number up to 5km (is assume that I ran the full 5km at the same rate) I would have done it in 28m35s which is still a personal best but it doesn't quite count and I am disappointed. Got my heart rate up to 182 (which I think is a max too, although I don't really monitor it too carefully).

PinkLipgloss - so pleased you like 'The Biggest Loser'. It is truely my inspiration - does that sound sad:confused: ? You CAN run :)

Ajax - I love the link and the additional ideas fadding the plan you're following. The down side of the 'weight lost so far' idea, would be that you would have to be updating it regularly and that isn't what we are after really is it (too much work). If this got up and running, how did you plan for us to access it when ever we want.

... that's not the intention Bb, that's what this place and the chart are for. I'm just happy to come up with a place for the stuff Suggs doesn't think appropriate for here, as per PLG's idea.

Not at all - it's an inspiring show!

I'm obsessed with season 3 of the American version - just finished watching it all. Have you seen that one? This may come out wrong but I don't mean it to - however when you see people like Eric (who was morbidly obese) doing a huge workout in the gym it really does make you realise that if you set your mind to it - that you could do it too! He's now doing triathalons and looking great!

PinkLIpgloss - that's exactly it. If they can do it, so can we. Got me on the treadmill, that's for sure. Enjoy - all the seasons are great but i think I enjoyed seasons 2 and 3 the best. I have The Biggest Loser dvds too so that I can feel like Bob and Jillian are my personal trainers too :)
