DH is gonna get something kicked in a minute:mad: - so much for getting the back garden cut so i can hang washing out instead of useing TD. But no, someone went out last night, got piddled and is sleeping, he has to get up in 15 minutes to be at work at 6 (5 UK time) and we arent allowed to cut the grass tomorrow cos its sunday:mad:
So as soon as it is light tomorrow, he is out trying to pull the weeds up by hand:rotfl: .
Got some shopping done though. Went to the discount supermarket (its in the turkish neighbourhood here and not many brits know about it) and spent about £70. But hubby bought a bag of scallops, sez he's going to do something wonderful with them! Chicken breasts and a big chunk of sirloin (for some reason in germany sirloin is used for roast beef???) and loads and loads of veggies and fruit;):D
Have some big plans for next week but i have to get my mixer back, DH took it to work cos their one doesnt work right. Dont care mine was expensive and i cant do any baking if i don't have my mixer!
Well back to putting shopping away. Then on with the flying!!!:beer:LBM - August 2008 - Debts then - £33390 - 2nd LBM - November 2009 - Debts then - £18500:mad:

Curtain quote has come in and I've accepted it. Trouble is, it's 28 days lead time but I've asked them if they could hurry it through for me. I'm quite excited now!
BF's husband is painting the living room ceiling as I type. He's just about finished the first coat, but it looks like it needs two. I have beggar's chicken slowly cooking in the oven and have invented a mousse for pudding made of chocolate, cream and raspberries. Have had two loads of washing on the line today and it's dried beautifully. Am just about to put the sheets back on the bed, prepare a salad and the baby potatoes to go with the chicken then I'll sit in the garden for half an hour I think with a G&T :beer:I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Soappie - I read that as boyfriend's husband and thought you were very liberated. Then I remembered this happened a few days ago....must remember bf is best friend:rotfl: .
I've managed two treatments today. Also managed to tint my own eyelashes which I was quite impressed with as I only used one hand!! After I worked I gutted all the shelves / drawers and cupboard in my clinic. I've chucked out all the products that had tiny bits left in them, anything I don't use anymore i've put in a box for a friend who's a therapist as I know she uses that stuff (wax that I don't like etc). That's my only flying today.
Ooooh yes.....exciting news....I wrote my name today and it looked like my signature:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: . I'm going to write a few more words a day and see if I can start writing a bit again. I'm having to do all my exams, in two weeks, on the computer but I desperately want to start being able to write a bit again. Things are definitely on the up xx0 -
Michelle - we have got a in-car DVD player for the girls and it is brill:D . Re the cigarette thing DH got a splitter for ours (so 3 extra cigerette bits (IFSWIM) so he can have his mp3 player, sat nav and the girls DVD at the same time. We got ours a couple of years ago so dont know how much the are now. We got it with earphones so they could watch it when we flew to my parents in Spain;) .
Embb - Lovely to see you back my love. We have been worried about you!
Cooking tea at same time so best get on with it.:D0 -
Michelle we bought this one this time (we have another but it's just a single screen which is no good with 2 boys http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5336308/Trail/searchtext%3EGOODMANS+IN+CAR+.htm
Main reasons why I got that one - built in games, 2 headphone sockets (so we can still listen to the radio, got headphones for under £1 in Asda) parental controls, includes carry bag & attatchments kit etc. They do work of the cigarette lighter, if you're concerned over powering two (or more) things from it you can get adapters to have a multi use plug. Argos do a double http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5465303/Trail/searchtext%3ECAR+ADAPTER.htm aswell as a quad one but I am SURE I got ours from Poundland.....there are usually a lot of the in car DVD systems on ebay, many people buy them and never use them, depends what you want from it. If you get a twin screen one at least next year when Sam is old enough (even if that does sound rather scary) you won't need to buy another. Of course if you buy another they can watch different things. We're taking all 3 with us lol, the twin screens going on the seats then the spare (which we some how ended up with a spare battery for) for use in the caravan.
Dusty what a day! Sounds like you've never stopped.
soappie great news on the curtainssure they'll look great. I have cream ones on ours and I get sick of washing them!
Oh, doh! I forgot to get the meat out, thanks for the reminder Michelle.
Emptied the car (well both carsit didn't all fit in one with the kids in too) into the caravan apart from the awning which we decided to bring home so we can take the packing off here. Boys started playing up after about half an hour so didn't check the gas appliances (did get it fitted as DP needed to move the holders) will do that on Friday when we bring it here before we go away. Mam's calling tomorrow to collect the throwover to split it in half for me, the other 2 fit perfectly!
I've not got round to doing my meal plan yet or do the fridge (but that can wait until tomorrrow I think) as we decided on bbq for dinner. Means of course used more meat today than planned and some of the rolls, getting there slowly with emptying the large freezer. The final part it needs arrived today, or I'd have forgotten about it, only taken them nearly 3 months, at least it was not urgent!!!! Might have to have an ice lolly out of there, medicinal purposes of course. I have however gutted the kitchen, apart from the floor in there it's done, what a mess that was. I've also cleaned stinky out (Sonic) folded 2 loads of dry laundry and done another washload.
This evenings list, I hope I can stay awake long enough to do it
Clean BBQ grills (currently soaking)
Vacuum kitchen floor and mop
Meal plan (after checking freezer) and shopping list to go with it
Vacuum dining room and living room
30 minutes filing
StudyingOne day I might be more organised...........

Kids are stuffing their faces :T and DH will get his when he gets home from work (he had to go in for something and he's working tomorrow night:mad: ).
Just done a load of towels so they are drying. About to tackle the pc deskso i can get some more reviews written tonight:D .

I am quite liberated and do have several friends who are of a different persuasion. The guy I got the curtains quote from runs the shop with his long term male partner. They're a lovely couple. And, in my experience, going clothes shopping with a gay bloke is actually better than going shopping with a female friend - they seem to have a far better eye sometimes for what will work and they're not at all concerned that you'll look better than them :rotfl:
But, in this case, BF is best friend (female!). May the abbreviation should be BstF? But that looks a tad rude to my sewer like mind.
And well done on your treatments - and having a proper signature again!
Right, dinner's all prepped - just need to pop the spuds on to boil at some point v. soon. BstFH is still up the ladder. I've given him several cups of tea and think now might be almost the right time to offer him something stronger (didn't want to earlier in case he fell off the ladder!)I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

soappie great news on the curtains

One of the reasons I went for a dark colour Lil-me - the muck shows up less :rotfl:
And I chose dark green because that's what I had before and it's the only colour, really, for that set of windows - you're drawn to the green of the garden so dark green sort of frames and complements the outside view if you see what I mean...
And I'm envying you your caravan big time!I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
