:j :j I completed my 13 mile walk which started at midnight in 4 hours (really pleased with that time), had my bacon sandwich, online as e-mailed OH so now off to stick feet in the foot spa for 5 mins before bed and I think I can safely say I'll be there for a fair while and then think my legs might not work so there will not be much list crossing off (yes I know that is always the case but this time I actually think I have good reason)

Pink - hope the friend makes proper contact soon and all is resolved

Hope you all have a sunny stress free Sunday
Don't put it down, put it away - thanks Valli

Pink I hope there is better news today
Hippy well done you, I hope you are not to achy when you get up.

OH off in a minute to footie with DS2 and one of his team mates little brothers is coming here for the day to play with DS3.

DS1 still in bed and will be doing coursework when he comes to.

Right shower for me and then to see how much of my list I can finish - curtains are nearly dry so I can get those ironed and OH can put them back later. It is dry and a bit muggy here but I hope to get some bits done outside.

    Morning all!

Well done Hippy! Hope you manage to catch up on the sleep and I'm sure Pigpen will excuse you from flying today.

Lounge ceiling is looking nice. It's all finished except for one corner where some plaster fell off :o so BstFH is coming back to day to plaster that bit in then it can be painted. I now just need to finish the skirting boards and do the picture rail and we're done apart from the floor.

    Morning all

It looks a lovely day here, nice and bright so I hope to get the grass mown when we get back form church later. It desperately needs doing and I am out quite a bit of tomorrow and then working extra on Tuesday. Can you see the excuses for my lack of flying already :p

Pink I hope everything works out quickly for you all, what a worrying situation.

Well done Hippy, that is a great average walking speed. I can't remember if you were doing this for fund raising or something else. Well done anyway.

Hope you are feeling better lil_me, sounds like you are doing well getting the caravan organised. I know you won't be on electric hook up next w/e but when you do get to a site with electric if your hot water system is like ours (ours will heat on either electric or gas) then make sure you get the water hooked up before the electricity and fill the hot water heating tank ASAP. Our first time out we left the water until just about everything else was done and by that time the heater cut out and tripped. It took us ages to suss what was happening. The only way to resolve it is to disconnect from the site hook up for about 5 mins and start again.

Well I had better go and rally the troops, hope you all have a good day xx

Excellent cats are sound asleep ont he sofa so should stay there now until 6pm. I think they are as fed up as I am of the birds going mad everytime they step foot in the garden. Shame it is a nice day and the fluff ball like to lay outside in the flower beds but hopefully in a week or so things will have calmed donw.

Breakfast time now and washing on the line, next lot ready to wash.

    morning.

i'm off to a good start again today. we were up at 6:30, so after a quick cup of tea, i got the WM on with kiddies dark clothes so they can go out on the line and make the most of the fine weather.

i then ran the steriliser and got some baby clothes in to stain soak, went and washed my hair and cleaned the bathroom, came back down, fed sam again, ate breakie and got WM on again.

DH and DS1 just hanging the clothes out for me, and i need to clean my teeth then it will be time for a trip to the supermarket.

not sure on plans for the rest of the day, but i am sure it will involve a hoover, an iron and a roast beef dinner, perhaps with some garden time.

thanks for the advice on in-car dvd players. i think we definitely need some for trips to the in-laws and it will save me trying to entertain them the whole way - usually ok for a bit but not the whole way.

enjoy your sunday - be safe in the sun

    Good morning all

Thank you for all the good wishes/messages of support. Apparently A has been in touch with an aunt today and said she will go to her mother's pub later today. At least that's a step in the right direction. Her poor father was telling the police yesterday that there were no problems and GF showed him a text she'd received where A said she hated him. I know that could be teenage stuff, but

Lil_me - I know what you mean about teenage girls/older men, but with hindsight most would wonder what the older guy was thinking of.

Soappie - as soon as I realised the text was from A, I called her dad, went with him to police too. I'd already checked the Postcode on t'internet. If it was accurate, it was Birmingham! If she had input incorrectly, it could have been a district in Bristol, which would be more logical, but her mother was told he was driving a truck to Scotland (which might account for a B'ham code - stop off) and someone else said he was going to his father's in Plymouth???

Hippy - well done, good speed.

Bonsi - still no email!!! It only took 23.5 hours by bus!!!!!!!!!:rotfl:Time delay???

Flying quite well so far, with one machine load on washing line and another just finishing. It's a lovely sunny day ATM. Hope everyone has it so good.

    Back later. x
