GnB - i remember when i lived in edinburgh, everyone said HW was the better of the two and more "exclusive" so that they could keep class sizes smaller.
so my bet is you definitely got the better of the two!!!LBM - August 2008 - Debts then - £33390 - 2nd LBM - November 2009 - Debts then - £18500:mad:

Curtains ironed and put back up now - got really hot ironing but it had to be done. Went to shops with DD and she spent loads and I spent 28p.0

Just nipped to Sainsbury's for milk, coz I didn't get any out to defrost, spent £8.02! 2 Tuna steaks x 2 packs for 60p instead of £5.99, 4 single pints of milk at 5p per pint, gammon joint for £2.00 etc. Bargain!
Then I fuelled up for my Windsor trip tomorrow. I used to be able to fill the tank for about £40. I had 1/4 tank, put in £40 and I now have 3/4, so I must be looking at around £70 - £80 to fill completely!
I've just edited my post 559 with some more flying! I'm really please with myself and the house is looking happy too!
The latest on A is that she's turned up (or going to turn up) at her Aunt's house over the Welsh side of the bridge and hasn't been in Bristol at all. Her mother is coming over but she has said that she doesn't want to go back to her father and his partner.I feel sorry for the girl, she must have been very upset to do this, as it's really out of character, but, oh dear, the trouble she's caused, she'll be very
. I'm just glad she's apparently safe.

Polly do tell what you spent your 28p on.
Pink I am glad at least she has made contact.
Have done lots of pottering in the garden. Dinner on.
Going to get the washing in and sweep the terrace so we can eat outside.
DS1 has made gingerbread men but the AGA is too full and hot to cook them yet.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
What do you old stylers wear on your feet to do housework? Is it sloppy to wear slippers all day when just indoors? Also would you take your slippers if you went to a friends house for a meal or just take your shoes off and suffer cold feet? Just interested!!0

Flylady says you should wear laced up shoes - it's part of the uniform
I'll add your question to the current FL thread. I'm sure the participants there will enjoy debating this with you :j

saving_is_fun i just wear slip on's when flying so it leaved it easier to go out till the bin (i'm so lazy:rotfl: ) and at friends i never take my shoes off or i'd knock them out with my feet( i was born with bad feet).
Right well i've had a little sleep so need to get ready and head, see ya all later.
Ohh before i forget my hubby has been suffering from a sore nose and his ear near the neck is cracking( this is an ongoing thing) , would anyone know what vitamins would be best to try and build him up. He refuses to go see the doctor. Thanks.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
What I wear on my feet depends on the weather. If it's cold, I pad around in slippers. If it's warm, like today, I have a pair of sandally things with velcro do-ups (if you know what I mean) on my feet. With three animals in the house, it's advisable to keep shoes on at all times - you never know when you might unwittingly step in an unexpected puddle .... :rotfl:I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
