I've just managed to finish eating dinner after yet another mammoth feeding session.

now DH is having to feed him a bottle.

At least i made good use of the time and rang both of my sisters for a catch up and let DH cook.

If you girls like Kathy Reichs, you will probably also like Karen Slaughter. I love reading - just started the Martina Cole - Faces, her latest one. My sister got it me for xmas and i only just got round to it.

I am trying to be really ruthless with books at the minute, and once i have read one i tend to either sell them on amazon, or pass them on to my sister or the charity shop. My sister can never part with books though, so i am trying to be good and not give her too many as i am only passing on the clutter and storage problem.

Right, going to get a clean babygro, and once he is fed, change him and let DH wash up and bedtime i think.

Have a lovely one folks - i think we will be being busy as i have a busy week next week by the looks of it and will benefit from being organised.

The missing wardrobe bit is supposed to be delivered tomorrow. Let's see if they can get it right 4th time, and that i will finally have the ordered in January wardrobe completed. Then i will be sorting my very assertive complaint letter to head office.;)

Do you have a 'library' or book room? I confess that I've always wanted a book lined room all to myself.

We have that room!:D Since we moved here and are lucky enough to have extra room, one of them is "The Den". There are book shelves on three of the walls (the fourth has a window and a radiator so we can't fit one there). They're full and overflowing with books, videos, dvds and cds. There is a portable TV, DVD player and DS's playstation, a sofa bed, and an armchair as well. It's a cosy room, but needs colour on the wall. At the moment we can't use it because I've stacked stuff from the hall there while I decorate the hall and sunlounge, and I miss it! We've also got bookshelves that live in the hall with nothing but cookery books on, one on the landing, and DD has books on shelves in her bedroom. :o

When I was at college almost 2o years ago, the tutor asked how many books people had. I said maybe 300 and they thought I was joking. We got flooded by the River Avon that October, and I was counting as I ran up and down stairs. I stopped at about 450, and we've added since. DS is a massive reader, but his tutor said it has paid off in his knowledge, use of language and vocabulary because he's missed almost 7 years of school.

The only bad thing is that they are not very Fly friendly, as they do collect dust. Oh and I forgot the ones in the attic - mostly Enid Blyton and Nancy Drew, but also my Dad's "Wonder Books". We've even got one with a bookmark to celebrate the coronation of King Edward VIII. :T

On the flying front, DS is now loading the dishwasher as most of the teens have left the building. GF has been allowed to sleep over because we're having breakfast at the gym tomorrow (DS is booked in for his haircut) and going into town. They said they would clear up between them and it's only stacking the DW and putting things in the fridge or bin. All my dailies were done and if I get up as early as usual, I'll do my ironing before we go out.

    Night all. x

I have been on a deleting spree ? when I delete mails/docs I then empty the deleted bin is there an equivalent for when I delete favourites?

My deleted favourites ended up in the Recycle bin on my desktop and I permanently deleted them from there

Hex, I think to have such a fabulous home I'd be willing to sacrifice those things aswell, just one look at it would make it all worth it.
Michelle fingers crossed the part arrives tomorrow and you finally get those wardrobes sorted. Must admit since your troubles they are a company I have now stopped considering using for anything.
DavGirl1 must admit in a way I'm a bit gutted that the Florida trip must wait as the fund has gone on the caravan stuff, but the caravan will allow us (now everything is bought, spent the last £150 or so today and think we have everything now) to have cheaper holidays while I save up all over again.
    Nicki have fun!

Books, I have loads I haven't read, I've banned myself from buying more until I have read them, haven't bought one since before Christmas and still not read them all. Maybe now we have the caravan I might read more. My son has 10 times as many books as me, he loves his books, so much so last time I changed his bed, within 1 WEEK there were 63 books on his bed. How he sleeps in his bed I will never know!

I've spent most of the evening being very lazy, I've been feeling more ill inc dizzy so when DP went to work I took the boys upstairs and put a DVD on for them, they weren't exactly perfectly behaved but was better for me. Still feeling dizzy now, came downstairs to let the dogs out and take more meds. I hate being ill as it's darn frustrating! Think I'll sort the online banking that needs doing, check through emails, maybe try to eat/keep down some toast then bed time.
One day I might be more organised...........

    Good morning

I can't believe I've got the first post of the day? Why is it that on a week night I sleep really badly and struggle to get up in the morning, but on a weekend, I sleep better and wake early? I'm sure it's because of my job!

    Morning all.

Just finished off my first cup of tea. I'm going to jump in the bath and then put my bedsheets in the wash - looks like it's going to be a nice day here today. I want to get to Habitat to look for curtains. It's in town and I rarely go there so I might just have a mosey round the shops - I need some more work trousers.

Then I've got best friend and her husband coming to paint the living room ceiling for me this afternoon and I've promised them dinner. I need to clear stuff in the living room so there's room for them to work and then decide what to cook them for dinner and also buy the ingredients - I wonder if I can fit in a trip to Mr. T's this morning as well?

    Have a nice day ladies

Morning everyone, didn't get much done yesterday evening. OH went to play football so i just chilled and watched tv, then got a phone call from OH's mum he took a fall and hurt his knee so it's bandaged up and he's resting it.

Kitchen has dried out a good bit and architect should be down today at some point with the plans.:j We've no fridge in the kitchen at the minute, it had to be moved to the big shed so now everytime i want a cuppa i have to go out and get milk ah well it will keep me fit.:rotfl:

Today will be catch up need to
    1)catch up on washing
2)sort clothes for children's day tomorrow
3)fill in forms that i have been putting off
    4)hoover right through
    5)dust livingroom and bedroom
    6)give bathroom a good clean
7)spend a good hour in garden

Right cuppa then make a start....
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
