Hippy hopefully next week, think my Mam is staying here, peace for her from Dad, she won't feed the lizard live food but will give him his veg I hope, but he's allowed to go without at least 1 day a week and we'll put some crickets into the rock which will trickle out over the weekend, then feed him Sunday, she can feed Sonic. I'm not sure about 5 star, especially the first weekend away as there isn't even electric there, but we've been practising starting the generator DP got so we can power some things. Most of what we have bought is just the basics, really expensive for the first one as you need sooooo much stuff, but focusing on the once it's bought we have it, as the guy said in the caravan shop 'next year it's free'. Things like the throws are to stop mud off the dogs etc getting on the seats and hopefully double up as bed sheets. The TV is jointly for the caravan and my bedroom as ours is playing up, the DVD players for the car we promised the boys as we had one built in to the old car, it's for us as much as them as keeps them busy on long journeys, the games being built in this time I am sure will be a big hit.
I was going to go to bed, but got too hot and felt clammyso I dived in for my second shower of the day. Just need my hair to dry now (don't want to over heat myself with the hairdryer) then will try to get some sleep, I hate having colds!
One day I might be more organised...........

Nice and sunny here this morning. And it's Friday which is nice too. Will be leaving work a little early as I have the physio at 3.45. I think this'll be the last session the problems I went to her with initially are all sorted.

Good morning, lots to do here today. Just ordered a collage mug for DH and Grandad for fathers day (3.99 offer on Snapfish) so one job off my list. Have to drop DS1 at school, and we have a Tesco delivery coming (£9 off voucher or I wouldn't bother). I have done very little flying this week, busy with work and trying to drum up some more consultancy.
The garden is calling - four days of weeding and there is still more to do. Fairly sunny so really tempted but the house is a tip. I need to do level 1 on every room today, no visitors this week so no panic, just slipping into a lot of a mess. I think I will drop DS1 off at school shortly and then crack on with upstairs till Mr. T is due, then downstairs while we are waiting, and weeding after he has been.
DH is still pointing, and putting dust all over upstairs but I can't ignore the mess any longer. We do make lists of what needs doing sometimes but it gets a bit overwelming given that everything except the roof needs doing. We are doing for babysteps for the next ten years, but it will be worth it in the end.
Hugs for Johanne, Bonsibabe and AnWsmum.
Happy Birthday Justamum
Lilme - Hope you are feeling better - surely all the retail therapy helps?
Soappie - re twilight, I agree with you. DH smokes outside so he always sits out and enjoys it and the garden so I often go and sit with him - at least that way we talk instead of watching rubbish TV.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
For AnW's mumIt is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
saoppie - I quite agree with you - I do take time to sit in my garden, more in the morning if I can grab five minutes as the bench outside the greenhouse catches the early sun. We have thrushes and blackbirds, so the evening trip to put all the plants back in the greenhosue and close up is usually a pleasure too!It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0

Morning all :hello:
AnW - Thinking of you and AandW today. I haven't got any yellow clothes but I've borrowed a yellow scrunchie from DD (((hugs)))
Justamum - Happy Birthday
Right, DD is packed and ready to go tonight, all she has to do is get changed and I'll take her the shop for some crisps and stuff on the way home from school
Todays plan is to change my bed (well strip and wash/dry and remake) and find out if some arrangements that were made last night are still happening or whether my mate was talking rubbish again :rotfl::rotfl:
Talking about going philosophical - I had this emailed to me and I think it's important that we should all remember to take this adviceToday is all about perseverance and dedication in the attempt to reach our dreamed result. These elements require our unwavering commitment and a strong hand and mind to make sure we do not falter on our path to success…it can also be a hard slog!
The good thing about perseverance and dedication however is that sometimes, in order to give ourselves the strength to preserver and be dedicated, we must take some time out to go and let your hair down.
Often when we are working towards a goal or trying to solve a problem or issue in our lives, we get caught up in the negative thoughts of ‘I must do this’, ‘I must keep on’ and ‘I can’t stop’, but stopping is something that often gives us a chance to recoup our energies, refocus our mind and come back to the challenge with a fresh revived perspective.
It is also a great way of affirming that you actually do care for yourself enough to allow a little ‘you time’, and this affirms to the universe that you deserve to have only positive elements and experiences in your life.
So today is all about giving to yourself that which your spirit needs in order to move you towards that place of establishment in any area.
Make a commitment to take some time out, calm your mind and think only about relaxing, even if it’s half an hour to lie on the couch and watch Eastenders…(or the Simpsons, if that is your thing) and affirm to yourself that this is the long awaited break that you deserve!Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0
