DS1 has come back from a day of cricket really sunburnt. I am so cross. I told him to put cream on and he took the bottle in his bag - still hopefully the pain will prevent him from doing it again.
Good news after seeing sunburn the other two say they will not moan about putting cream on again.
Off to cut a leaf off the aloe vera plant from Lidl to see if it helps. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
dusty - if you have any, plain yogurt will help. A tip I learnt from a holiday rep!It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0

Evening all,
A flying visit before I get flying.
G&B - Japanese knotweed is a menace. Even one bit of plant left on the ground can be washed away and will take root elsewhere. There's lots of info about it here

They offer ways of managing it and getting rid of it. It seems it's classed as controlled waste and you can only dispose of it by either burning it on site or by taking it to a controlled waste disposal area - which might be why the quote is high - but I would have thought that quote is v. high.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

SSL – I’ve been sending positive vibes to you today.
Johanne – how’s about you spend the vouchers on nappies so every time your DD fills them it reiterates what you think of the ex colleague? I’m mean!
Bonsibabe – massive hugs to you xx
Going to get children from my mums.
Catch up a bit more later xx0 -
Thankyou all for your lovely welcome.
Got today off to a good start - managed to do level one and two and have got dh doing 1/2 an hours ironing too - goodness knows what that will cost me.
All this and it was ds2's 1st birthday party today - had 16 children and their mums and some dads for coffee and cakes this morning (all homemade as per os regimen!!:j )

Stressful hour. As predicted our youngest cat got hold of one of the baby thrushes! I was mad and sad. We managed to make her drop it and it hopped into the undergrowth. Mum bird was going berserk, we came in and then did the cricket run. The baby is nolonger where it was so I am hoping she came for it.
Cat is in disgrace, as we usually fuss her all the time she knows she is in trouble and will not make eye contact when you enter the room, she peeks at you from the corner of her eyes.
Just been in the loft to put the ski stuff away and retrieve the next size bike for DS3. There is what looks like a small wasps nest up there. As I have a very unpleasant reaction to stings I came down sharpish without the bike. OH can go up when he gets home.
Right time to take the burnt one to another cricket game - he now has long sleeves on, he is suffering so hopefully lesson learnt. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
