I would wait a bit to see how the day pans out, but myself i wouldnt invested in anything.

Yeah I know about the £35K covered by the FSCS but my dad has over £70K with Halifax at the moment and he doesn't seem to be listening when I tell him to shift some of it, even though I have tried telling him that they are risky.0

BoE will nationalise HBOS, and then merge with Northern Rock.
Soon, there will only be one Bank of England giving direct services to end-customers.

What I have noticed is, the bbc 2 radio news haven't mentioned the 30% (at one point) drop in hbos share price. I reckon the media don't want to set of a panic

Thats because of the announcement of £5 billion that has just been injected by the B of E... but we have seen it all before, wait until wall street starts trading then a clearer picture will form0 -

The problem is that many people are now thinking no worries the Government will step in, but they cant keep bailing out the Banking Industry..Britain isn't in the best of shape at the moment and if it carries on its swift decline regarding different industries there will be no revenue to keep the money pot full to bail out the Banks if you know what i mean.0
