And closed just above 315p. I doubled my stake in HBOS about a month ago at a bit under 240p (cost averaging and all that) but never thought they would become my biggest gainer!
Of course, it could all be the other way round next week!

A truly appalling week for HBOS

Shares down to only 275.5 pence

  • Same old news , funding fears as a 6 week deadline to BOE funding scheme approaches.
A good time to buy it seems to me as they always hit this 275 level, for some reason the market loves magic numbers. JP Morgan thinks they'll be more funding/backing for banks, who knows but I would guess yes while brown is still in office. He did buy an entire bank after all

Should go up on monday anyway, the sp500 is bouncing

He didn't buy an entire bank. He took ownership of it to save his neck without paying a penny!

After a recent 'lead balloon' bounce they are back to 286.75 no fuel assistance for poor households either so things look bleak for the market - SELL.

When it comes to investing shares I would not trust any so called 'experts'. It's all gambling afaiac.
