Agent Orange is factually correct though! No one was discussing the rights or wrongs!

So what happens when the pot runs dry?? who you going to live off then. do you not understand that if Industry dries up the people who have invested thouands will lose everything.
And whether it's right or wrong do you personally think that the tax payer should keep bailing out??
  • It looked such a clever move when the HBOS directors filled their boots the other month after HBOS was targeted by the speculative shorting brigade, triggering a FSA investigation (but no prosecutions as a result of the market rumours that triggered the temporary rout of the share price)

When the price recovered they were quids in.

    Until now!

Yes what ever happened to those that were arrested??? were they charged or not
  • This is the City, not Wall Street ;).

FSA abandons inquiry for lack of hard evidence

So 40 people were employed over several months at taxpayers' expense - to no immediate effect.

I understand very well thank you. You, on the other hand, seem to be comparing oranges with pineapples. This discussion was only ever about what WOULD happen - you are the only one that seems to confuse that with whether it SHOULD happen.

  • Does Lehman being broken up and merril lynch bought out cause immediate or long term problems for hbos.

All I can see is that their debt costs may rise as a knock on effect of losses to those who lent to Lehman. Others have said less players means higher profits for those that remain, 4500 uk staff they had so who gains their clients
