Haribo your garden still sounds lovely, well everything apart from the spider bit!

Well done to those who ran or are running in the race for life :T

Thank you for the well dones, im not on a diet as such, just cutting back on all the snacking!! Baically, ive cut out all the cups of tea i was knocking back, and drinking a lot more water (tap). Ive cut out the crisps and biscuits, and im eating 3 meals a day - weetabix for breakfast, soup and fruit for lunch, and then whatever we are having for dinner - im already able to eat smaller portions. After dinner, i have a treat, so it could be a small slice of cake, a few pieces of chocolate (not a whole bar) or something like that (i could have some crisps or biscuits if i felt like it) but to be honest, im 5 weeks in and really noticing that i am full, and dont need to keep eating, just because its there. Im trying to do more walking too, but this last week we have been home most of it, and ive still managed to lose, so not sure if thats helping or not.
Im not saying its gone, but i have noticed that my celulite is looking a lot better as well, so i would def recomend drinking more water to everyone!!
celyn - glad your grandma is felling better, i hope she continues to improve and gets home next week.0 -
Just popping on to say well done and congratulations to Shez and weeping river:T :T :T You both had brilliant times:D Bet you're glad it's done and dusted now. Who's next? Is it PenPen?
Had a very nice lunch at a reasonably close garden centre. Gorgeous goat's cheese and cherry tomato quiche, salad and new potatoes. Followed by apple pie and cinnamon cream. Yummy!!! All home made and mostly grown on site too;) Oh yes, bought a couple of plants too, which was of course the primary reason for going:whistle:
Glad you enjoyed your concert Vicky. I'll have you know I was as sober as a judge ( do you know any judges:rotfl: )I love that expression * checking for pinholes*, will definitely use it sometime:D
Stefejb, well at least now DD3 will have a spare pair of glasses:rolleyes: Sounds like you got some good bargains.
Off to cheer on England, even though it's a fairly pointless friendly. You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0
