I'm doing Race for Life and its RAINING!!!!!!!!!! Okay good for cooling and to be honest at least looking soaked with water is better than being obviously soaked in other ways. But raining!!!!!

Okay I'm over it now, in other news, I have shiny new laptop:T which doesnt over heat and make no obvious noise.....its sooooooooooo weird.

Now I'm starving hungry and got to think of something good to eat for racing, its hard but i'll do it.

Hugs and loves to all in want or need and Good luck to anyone else racing today.

    Morning Guys!

Can't believe we are in June already:eek:

I havent been feeling too good this weekend, but have the nurse coming in this morning, so she may be able to help me. OH slept downstairs last night as I havent been sleeping well and it didnt make much difference.

OH made a lovely dinner last night of steak & chips and the kitchen was spotless after. He also did a crumble and custard for pudding:D We had a free rental for Blockbusters, so DD picked Run Fatboy Run....isnt want too bad, but not really my cup of tea.

My new helper starts in the morning at 8.30 and hopefully it will go well. She seems a nice girl and also drives, so at least she doesnt have to rely on public transport to get here.

We have a nice joint of Pork for dinner later with Roasties, Yorkies, Parsnip, Carrots & Peas....yummy. OH picked up a jar of organic apple sauce in Sainsburys for 39p.

WM is on as I type, then will have another load...then an empty bin:D

    Anyway, I need a coffee.

    Hugs to all.

Great picture Aussie.....N9eav looks very fetching in those tights!:rotfl:

Good luck today Weeping River!! it's rained here overnite, but dry at the moment, so fingers crossed it stays that way for my run round the City later. 10am for the warm up and then race starts at 11am - I still don't have a clue which roads/route is - they have never sent me a route map?! but with 7,000 women running around St Pauls today I don't think I will get lost!:rotfl:

better getta move on, hopefully see you later - have a good sunday everyone xx

I've been looking for a route map for mine too, guess its just not somthing they do. I think the rain itself has stopped, but I'm afraid to look out the window to see, weather report was not promising.

    Good morning everyone,

GOOD LUCK SHEZ AND WEEPING RIVER

Aussie - are you telling me my glasses need cleaning?

Taplady, Tru, mrs mix, twink :hello:

:grouphug: and :hello: to everyone xxx

Nothing planned again today - i have my dishcloths soaking in bleach at the moment, and will be putting them in the wash along with DSs bedding in a mo. I always bleach my drains on the first of the month as well, but i dont really have anything else i need to do.
Weather is lovely at the moment, but it was like this yesterday morning, and ended up being showery all day - if it stays fine maybe i will do the gardening i didnt do yesterday!
Roast chicken for lunch - yummy!! Actually, must get BM on as i need bread for the lunches tomorrow!

Hope everyone has a lovely day,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Morning all :hello:

I haven't been posting much becaue after 6 years of living in this house the garden appears to have matured overnight. Everything is growing like mad and it's taking alot of work to keep on top of it. The veggies are all doing well though and I haven't had to buy a bag of salad for 2 weeks despite having it with tea every night. ;)
The girls' birthday is in 2 weeks but they got their trampoline yesterday as an early present. With OH's dislike of reading instructions, it took all day to erect. They were up at 6.50am wanting to bounce. I had to explain that the neighbours would probably prefer if they didn't. Next door is a guest house so I doubt if they would appreciate shrieking kids on their quiet weekend away. :D I've managed to get the wirelss connection to work on the decking so I'm typing this with a lovely view of the sea.

washing is done and on the line and DW emptied. But that's it so far.

The weather has been stunning here all week apart from one day which watered the garden for me. :D

Tea tonight will be leg of lamb and salad and I need to make some lettuce soup a la Aussie.

OH is still snowed under with work but I'm hoping he will chill out a bit today.

Really, really, really good luck Shez and Weeping river.
And I'm so sorry for your loss Loopy.
I'm glad the meet went so well yesterday ladies. :DClearly though, churchie didn't keep up her glamorous, demure demeanor for long. Well done Ivyleaf for getting her home. ;):p

    Have a lovely sunday everyone.
