Trying to get LC to see sense is like trying to push jelly up a hill with a poker.
It's impossible to soar with eagles when working with turkeys.

If you're dumb enough to let them hold you down, yes.

Why not check out what i say first. Same sellers, same place, different paypal addies, different seller ID. Correct me if my elementary mathematics is falling short, but 1+1 equals 2! Yes 2! The lowest prime number, the only even one. 2.

So a simple Yes or No if you are capable of a straight answer, as "checking out what you say" makes very little sense.

Are you going to pay the sellers when you get your money back from Paypal?

    Yes or No?

Are you resorting to basic maths as you are unsure how the 'not trading on a second account while suspended on the first' rule works?

I really don't think I am able to make the explanation any simpler sorry.

It defies common-sense. What do fleabay think people will do? They derive an income off the site. They get one account suspended. Yes, i agree as is usual with these creeps, probably unfairly. So they resort to selling on the other. Why don't they suspend BOTH accounts? Oh, and another more sinister possibility which I believe we'll see more of, you get your paypoo account 'restricted' just as an insurance by Ebay. Given this will be your only source of payment soon, a disaster. You won't get it re-instated by a straightforward e-mail like the guy above did with his eBay account. You'll have to jump through very unfair and flaming hoops.

No, I won't be messing around in November trying to go through old archives where 'this item is no longer available for viewing' and tracing sellers to refund them. The amounts are small on average, less than 25 pounds.

I'll donate it to the Solihull Voluntary Licensed Premises Quality Control Society.

If it's so small i'll take the cash then.

eBay will suspend BOTH accounts btw, even if theres no solid proof to link them.

:whistle:Any other offences you'd like 'taking into consideration', Crooked Man. You don't have to say anything but it may harm your ..........etc etc.

    Mind how you go.

PS I'd be extremely obliged to you if you could update this thread when you have actually taken possession of the money that belongs to the sellers. Just out of interest. Nothing to worry about. I'm not trying to trick you or anything.

Why wait until November? Write down the details of the sellers now and the amount owed.

I repeat my question, when you said earlier that they (most/some/all ??) have written off their losses, Have you contacted them since being refunded and told them the money is back in your account available in Nov, and would they like their money in Nov - assuming you get it back - Have you asked them that? You being so honest and all.

Glad I have come across this thread - I didn't realise there had been changes to ebay. I have been a 'small' seller and buyer over the past 4 years and have 100% feedback. I will now think twice before selling now.

Me too! I was going to list a few things for sale today, at the reduced price of 5p per listing.

But two things concern me, so I didn't go ahead:
    1. The new rule that you must offer Paypal and pay their high charges, rather than ask for a cheque or cash on collection, say, to help keep costs down. Ebay and Paypal are starting to get too expensive. Perhaps I'll take things to the charity shops instead, or advertise in the local newspaper.

    2. The new rules on feedback, which are totally unfair.

And linked to (1) it seems to me that a buyer can just make up a story, complain to Paypal and get their money back. It's too big a risk to take.

As an occasional seller, I'm thinking 'Bye Bye' to eBay.

I didn't know about this one, what about in Germany where they all use bank transfer? I suppose, just because you have to offer paypal there is no requirement that the buyer has to pay by paypal.

It would be interesting if there was a class action lawsuit taken by sellers against Ebay, about this.

So nothing more than a common thief.

I'm glad we have finally established that, but I do not think this site is ideally suited to your way of life and moral beliefs.
