You are a total asshat. Please, can I have your buying ID? I'd love to block you...

Just because the sellers you spoke to have had this happen before (I haven't) doesn't mean it's right your stealing, and have no intention of paying £370...

I have since found that it is simple to get free goods off of eBay.......

.....The fact that sellers cant leave buyers negative has opened up longevity for buyer-fraud, your sellers will never know you're scamming them. What with excessive monopoly-fees for both ebay and paypoo, selling must be a dodgy occupation now. It use to be a paradise for criminal sellers, now it's the buyers' turn, so don't say eBay ain't fair!
By the way, I DO NOT CONDONE NOR DO THE ABOVE

If you don't condone nor do the above - why put it in a posting.

The fact that you have already posted that you have cheated sellers out of money and blaming it on paypal suggests that this may be normal practice for you.

Yes, I have goods and 370 balance in my paypoo account to take out in early October. NO, I didn't pay for them by any other means, as far I am concerned I already paid. Basically, Paypoo got themselves in a tizzy for no reason, I am a creditworthy and honest citizen and their 'suspicioins' are quite unfounded. y!)

Your two comments are mutually exclusive, you can't keep money that is not yours and consider yourself honest..it doesn't work like that.

It is obvious you have a bee in your bonnet about something or other, it might be easier to fully understand if you could add a little punctuation and paragraph breaks to your posts please. I am finding them impossible to follow as they are.

Well thanks for that useful and mature insult. You aren't bright enough to make the connection are you? It's paypal which allows this situation; the sellers' friend, I'd say the buyers' friend more like.

Paypal are fleabay owned. They now want to block out all other payment forms. Will get away with it until someone complains to MMC.

As I said above, I have NO terms and conditions in my personal Ebay activities which obliges me to lend paypal 370 interest-free for months. Sellers are victims of Ebay via Paypal. Read your T&C. I bet you never have.

It DOES work like that. That's my point. Ebay via paypal allow it. I have a beef about paypal's behaviour, yes, even though they have benefited me. I have had to endure the inconvenience of opening another account to buy with.

You sellers are in for a rough ride hence. People like my work associate are in for a bonanza of your fake goods and rejects and seconds and junk. All for free.

Not down to me. If you can't stand the heat, get outta the kitchen. It seems according to posts that several have, or are considering it, already.

Unlikely - if an account is terminated or suspended, generally, all accounts at the same address are terminated/suspended."

can't be arsed to read listings and T&C properly.

Good sellers are suffering insanely unreasonable changes due to the minority of idiot Ebayers (and that includes many buyers) who need protecting from themselves.

I don't live with my mum thanks, so there is no reason why her account would be suspended.. don't talk crap.

Also, I have read the terms and conditions.. I am bending them to allow me to sell on eBay still.. Nothing dodgy, just for what eBay was set up for.. old clothes, computer games etc.. I'm certainly no idiot eBayer or even a bad eBayer..

You have had roughly £370 worth of goods delivered, and you have paid for them with your card. You have had Paypal creating a fuss over nothing. Paypal refund the £370 for god knows what reason, they should have paid the sellers with that money.

But you alledgedly have access to this money in 6 months time.

Morally (and I suspect, legally aswell) this money is not your money, it belongs to the sellers. If in 6 months time you intend to be honest you should use this money to send cheques to all the sellers. This is not lending paypal £370 because you got the goods already.

The only way this could be construed as "lending paypal £370" is if you paid the sellers now (again), before getting your money back from paypal. This would be foolish because you don't know for sure that you will get the money back in 6 months.

What paypal should have done with the 370 (assuming they had a right to stop the transactions in the 1st place) was to hold it for the sellers, for 6 months, not hold it for a refund to the buyer.

If you think of yourself as honest, why are you saying you will use this money for your car insurance, instead of earmarking it for paying the sellers what they are due in October? That's not honest.

As to the information of how to cheat sellers, I recognise that you said you don't do this and it is 2nd hand information, but I do have a problem with you repeating the info on this board for all to see. There is the arguement that it is probably already a well known scam amongst crooks and it probably is already on the internet somewhere but 2 wrongs don't make a right and this forum is one of the busiest most read forums on the internet, so putting it here is a major wrong IMHO.

RFW no I have already taken out ebay fees from my profit . That is basic accounting. Take off fees before assessing profit.

Kay Peel what exactly am I supposed to do if the post office lose my items or at least buyers tell me they are lost. I have complained 'til I am blue in the face canged my labels and packaging altered the return address all so that if we were being targetted it would stop. If I refund 100% within 14 days or replace why should I get a neutral or a neg - be responable. You will find ALOT of ebayers put I accept no responsibilty for items lost in the post - which we know is not worth the screen it is written on , I don't. Do you seriously think it is resonable to vicitmise me twice if RM lose parcels I should get a neg as well as waiting 3 months + for a refund off RM. Don't tell me to send them registered or with a courier as it is seriously not an option.

Yes Patchwork Cat: I do think you should get neutrals and negatives in these circumstances. It will warn buyers like me that there is a big risk that the goods won't be delivered.

There is a weak spot in your business.

You can't just shrug it off by blaming your agents, Royal Mail. You can't just blame your buyers for so-called dishonesty. You can't go on refunding people, surely?

It's up to you to sort out the weakness in your business. It's up to your customers to point out those weaknesses through the feedback system.

You're not being 'victimised' by your buyers, either. Your problems with Royal Mail shouldn't be their problems - they are right to tell the truth about the experience of dealing with you.
