There is another option for getting the settings - goto http://www.sonyericsson.com/spg.jsp?cc=gb&lc=en&ver=4000&template=ps1&zone=ps&lm=ps1

You should be able to download the settings to your phone from there........

    Hope that helps.....
What should I put in here that won't upset people.........

whey hey...got my w800i totally free (with cashback of course and downgrade after 6 months) from phones4u....3 weeks ago i went ahead on this deal well after having the phone for a couple of weeks i noticed the battery life was very short...even with only one or two 3 minute calls i found the battery lasted 48 hrs max...considering it was refurbished stock i soon requested an exchange asap...no probs..sent me jiffy bag to return and a replacement arrived a couple of days later...this one also had a fault with the sim card draw..it wasnt flush with the phone...so rang phones4u once again....this time i suggested if i could be provided with an alternative model altogether, sure no problem they said and rang me back with a full list of alternatives (not refurbished models) which was actually a full list of all the contract phones they offered on o2...armed with the list of phone models they gave me i went on the website to investigate all the features of the different phones...k750 was an alternative they offered me and was happy to opt for that until i saw the w800i..wow rang phones4u straight back enquiring if that was an option for me (as they didnt put it on the list) oh yes she said i didnt put that one down as we are currently out of stock on that one and not sure when the next batch is in and due to popular demand were only getting batches of 5-8 phones at a time, we already have 8 people on a waiting list...ok i thought and told them to mark me down for the k750..obviously i wasnt in a hurry to send the broken phone back to them just yet and thought i would try my chances of holding on and watch the stock availability on there website....2 days later the w800 was back on though it did state a 7-14 day stock availability.....so i rang and said i will go for the w800 and dont mind waiting for the stock and sent them back the broken phone that day....cool....3 days later w800 delivered.....great freebie!! sorry if that was all a bit long winded but it proves what excellent customer service phones4u have.

Well done, you got yourself a nice deal :)

I'd always assumed that phones4u were usually pants for customer service, from what I've read over the years. I've yet to find this sort of excellent service from any mobile provider I've dealt with so far!

You can just call Customer services by dialling 100 (which is free) and they will do it for you.
