Sony W800i £19 pm on O2 and £25 for the phone

It doesnt have to be an NUS no, i ordered on phone and they asked for my student number and i gave them my student uni number, i never joined NUS in my last year anyway. and its out of date anyway.

but damn it £4.99!! i want my £20 back. theyve not processed the order, after whining about adreeses for ages there now in crddit check all of today so will call back tomorrow and complain

Got my DHL tracking number this morning, phone should be with me tomorow. Ordered around 2pm yesterday - pretty impressive!!!

..ordered via the student link on the website, no NUS number or other proof required.

It was too late to cancel my order and go for the 4.99 offer but who cares when a brand new w800i is on it's way?

Anyone know how to create a student account please - link ends up going through to an error and unable to place an order.

My original order has been cancelled (long story, but all the fault of o2!)

Tried phoning, but getting no response.

BTW I do have student number.

o2 have said there is no stock until end September, but I need to speak to sales team as they can still take my order now - either they don't answer, or they cut me off!

anyone tempted to phone up and try and get their £20 back from O2 after the price drop might as well not bother. After speaking to 5 different people on 3 different numbers I was finally told that they cant do anything as ive already agreed to pay more, and that if I want to cancel and reorder I have to wait for the phone to arrive and send it back

Grumble.

It's working OK for me... https://www.o2.co.uk/students, then underneath 'TEXT MORE?' there's a link, click that. Then select your tariff, then the 4.99 w800i.

Then either sign in your o2 username or if that doesn't work, create a new one

Should work ok

Birdy - I was getting that error several times on Monday.....try pressing back and reclicking......I don't know if it's a loading issue or not - but as usual the error message doesn't really help......
