I got my registration email at 22.20 last night, and got the order comfirmation at 22.32. Got one today saying it was out of stock.

So I think you should have had your order email by now

Ordered around midnight last night, received confirmation etc, but no e-mail to say it's out of stock at the moment.

Getting worried though, as my order was well after DazzaMc.

Website seems to playing up a bit too!

W800i now gone up to £49.99 again!
  • W800i is still £24.99
  • Has anyone been able to track their order? The email says you can go onto o2 online and track it, but I can't see any 'my order' link and can't track it on dhl - the order number doesn't work.

Can't wait to get my hands on a w800i.
  • Can't believe this. The w800i HAS now gone down to £4.99. Any way of cancelling this order without ringing up 0845 numbers?

Or will o2 charge £4.99 for the phone because at the time of ordering at 24.99 the product was unavailable/out of stock?

Thankyou very much, i have ordered one for me and my girlfriend, 4.99 each and alrady says its been submitted for dispatch
  • Just ordered one too ... dispatch email was VERY fast, find it hard to believe they're that efficient.

    Cheers!

Could you not order another one and then when the other one arrives send it back? You do have 14 days to change your mind I think.
  • Is it an issue going through the student site......

I was proceeding through and at the checkout it asked me for my PIN number (already have an O2 login)....it then locked me out....speaking to them the first time on the freephone number - the Rep quite happily transferred me and the girl on the PAYG desk went off to investigate. She rang me back and said it had been reset - unfortunately it only appears to have done my password.

Tried ringing again - got another girl who said I can sell you the phone and promptly said its 29.99; I asked about the 4.99 and she said it's Students and I'll need your NUS card number.

I then asked to be transferred to the Cust Services on PAYG as I had been before and she said I can give you the number....not too helpful....so anyway I'm going to just create a new logon (as she recommended)......

There is no need for a NUS card number is there -because mine has "expired"......
What should I put in here that won't upset people.........
  • just create a new account on the o2 website, then go through the o2 students page to get the phone for £4.99. You don't get an nus number on the internet.

Got an email from o2 today (i sent them an enquiry about the w800i stock) and they said they have no date yet for getting stock. She said I could cancel the order if I wanted and pick another phone. As if. I'm just gonna order the w800i again but for £4.99!

Getting impatient for my phone now though.
