We pay £4 for a 7.5kg sack of local potatoes from COOP. I figured that was fairly good value at 53p per kg, as the ones in bags are normally £1.29 for 1.5kg max and that is about 86p per kg! The tatties are lovely too, only had to ditch one that was slightly green. They seem to be keeping well too.

I'd assume not then, i've not made them so i'm not sure. They are based on millies cookies obviously and they have rough edges like twinks:confused:

Morning all- haven't been on for a few days due to other stuff and so much to catch up pn!!

Mumzy these do taste grogeous and I have made them with a tube of smarties in too- also gorgeous! The recipe made a batch of about 60 for me so the second time I rolled half of the batter into a sausage shape for easy cutting and wrapped it and froze it so that we weren't all the size of houses at the end of the week!! :rotfl: I just drop a teaspoon size on to tray and they spread out and make round shapes- shape them lightly before cooking with your fingers.

Am still playing catch up with the thread but (((Hugs))) to all that need them and anyone who just wants one!! Thanks for all the recipes- am thinking of trying a crustless quiche- anyone got a good, easy, low cal (ie no cream) recipe?? Or can point me in the right direction??

Have been missing you all :o
    June Budget= £151.41/£150:cool:
