  • morning all,

    planning a nsd today, but might pop to MrS as i have some free UHT milk coupons (theres a freebie you can get from moveme.com that i saw on the freebies board, got mini cif cleaner, quilted velvet looroll, luxury!, double pack of bounty and money off coupons) so i'll stock up on it whilst i can, it will mean that i have 5 litres of UHT tho, along with the 17 or so pints in my freezer ( i think i'm obsessed:confused: )

    i do also need carrots tho, have 1 left!!!!!

    off to do some work and drink a lot of tea! :D

    Morning everyone

    Had Mr T deliver last night £130.01 :eek: but should only need f&v - well just fruit mostly as veggies will be ready on allotment I hope.

    Mumzyof2 (and anyone else) i have 2 DS. DS1 (now 15) was dry during day from about 4 but not at night till he was 13ish :eek:. At age of 7 my HV advised me to take him to dr's as until that age they don't take a lot of notice round here. He was put on medication to help (can't remember the name but its an anti depressant for adults!!), started off in August on 1tsp at bedtime and by that Xmas he was up to 5 tsps at bedtime! It worked though. Unfortunatelty they stopped making it in liquid form and he had to go over to tablets at the age of 9 btu they were tiny tablets and when he was 12 he decided with the advise of the doctor to start weening himself off them. He doesn't have any major learning difficulties other than he's not the brightest button in the box (bit lazy to be honest), but the doctor told me that this is very common with boys, its something to do with a cromezone (sp??) but nothing to worry about.

    Ooh sorry to have waffled there a bit off topic but felt I should share as it might help someone else.

    Off to work now, bye bye. Oh should be a NSD for me today, spag bol for t me thinks. Weather is dull at the mo.

    Meant to say that the soda crystals were in Wilkos & priced up at 57p this week.

    It would be really interesting to see if there are regional price differences for various things....perhaps we can choose three items & see how much they are in typical High Street stores:rolleyes:

    Oh & the poster who needs party-ware [not got sensible head on this morning tho you'd never guess:p ], do you have access to something like Poundland or down here we've Right Price? M'be even a cash & carry? Just a thought.....

    Wow- I've missed a lot just skimming. Good luck to those of you job hunting!
    Naomim- when I saw you were going to Iceland for your son's birthday my first thought was about the extravagance for a childs birthday and thought it was probably a special one, then I wondered why Iceland and then it dawned on me that you meant the shop- D'oh! This night working lark is turning me insane (well can't really blame work but I can try!).

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Nope it's his 3rd birthday so just having a party tea in the garden. A bit OT but anyone know where I can get some cheap "safe" party bag bits? Don't want to spend a fortune obviously!!

    Morning all. Daily round up of spends yesterday was £5.99 for tooth filling kit (temporary measure as can't see dentist until next week) and £4.85 on Paramol for pain from said tooth. Had a grocery no spend day though :T
    Paid all my bills for month so spent enough there instead :eek: There was a time when my salary paid everything and left enough for a couple of treats but not anymore - my utilities have doubled in the last 2 years. It's no wonder so many people are doing the grocery challenge :rolleyes:

    Any way see you all later, I'm off to eye clinic then w**k.
    Have a good day K
