Dink1-So sorry to hear about OH losing his job.
Perhaps we can give each other a bit of support if needed... Good to hear he's already with an agency. OB signed up last week. So fingers crossed for both of them.
Take care

Hi all
Spent £31.22 in mrS and mrT today, much less than I'd normally spend.Went in with my list and stuck to it apart from some cottage cheese to go with the baked pots that are now in the freezer.
Today I made loads of chicken pasta bake, we all had it for tea and there's loads left to be put into portions for freezing.
Also baked 2 dozen fairy cakes - now in the freezer, 3 loaves of bread, 2 dozen choc crispy cakes and roasted a chicken. Will sort that out tomorrow, but I use a lot of the meat for sandwiches - works out so much cheaper than buying sandwich meat.
Hope you all have a thrifty day tomorrow and hugs to all those who need it.
Just to add I forgot the kids also spent £4 on school lunches so will add that as well!

Then he got a call out of the blue yesterday from a firm he worked for years ago offering him a hob, and he starts on Monday - so keep you chin up, you never know what is around the corner.

Hi Mumzy,
It's in the washing powder area, but not astonish, vanish or anything like that. Here is Tesco's version:

Hope that helps,

 Forgot the rest of my post, How did I do that?
Another no spend day for me today :j I'm really getting into these now. Big spend tomorrow though as man coming to fix washing machine - £45:eek: has to come out of grocery spend as only budget left coz all savings gone on car repairs - approx £150 so far:eek: - and we were doing sooo well.
Have made THREE loaves this week, I'm so chuffed. DS (just started 3 weeks work experience) and hubby took their first lot of HM bread for their sandwiches today, Plus some twinks - made SEVENTY TWO yesterday (god knows how I got that many out - they were all a decent size too) Both of them had to give some out to their work buddies as they didn't have any and they LOVED it - If I carry on getting praise like this, my head won't fit out the door. :rotfl:
Have some mix kneading in the BM at the moment as want to try those lovely rolls someone has just posted - cooked extra sausages today so they can take sausage rolls into work - better send in extras this time...:DLBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -
