Having my first NSD in this challenge, but it's a bit like when yo go on a diet and you crave food,I'm craving shopping and I never shopped that much or enjoyed it before.I think because now its a big adventure and a competition with yourself and your purse.....

Have packed drinks and crisps as we are at a disco after school,so wil be late back and having leftovers,a day at a friends tomorrow and all of Sunday's Menu in freezer / cupboard.I really could go through till Tues / Wed without needing anything for packed lunches so will aim for a shop on Tuesday.

Still have 4 cans of lager and 3/4 bottle of red wine that my friend's brought over on Sunday, have had a half a swig of the wine and have moved the cans out of sight and found 10 more and 2 cartons of sangria!!Great for when OH gets over here.

Will go and get my bread out from my good neighbours freezer, mines too small and sit in the sun..

Was up late last night (2am) reading all the posts, excellent, humourus, and inspiring. nice to find a bunch of people helping each other through lifes challanges. I shall be following all of your posts.

OK, my spends so far are £3.87 in Lidl and £5.64 in Tesco. Tea is chicken curry, saag aloo and Indian courgette bread. Has anyone made Indian courgette bread? I've not, so fingers crossed with that

SFT - I hope you have decided that your dream is postponed, rather than cancelled. I feel like bursting into song 'happy talk, keep talking happy talk' :D

well so much for just a bit of milk from the shop, went in the wanting 8x 4pints should have been £8 and came out with £22.02 of stuff  !!!!

The only consolation was that I stocked up on stuff from my monthly to get list. (made a list for the month when I did my menus for the month) Is that how you all do it? Mr A gave me 60g of fresh yeast which I promptly divided and froze Thanks Mrs M.

oh well will go and look at my seeds in the garden. By the way WELL DONE Mrs M I know how hard it is to lose weight keep on going girl!

Afternoon all - sorry to be off topic but...
my graduate loan is finally paid off!!! after 6 years :) I even got £34 back in my account today as the final payment wasn't as much as the standing order had been set up for!! Hooray! :)

    very chuffed!

SFT - good on you - like you said, this money is, in essence, extra to your income as you would normally have spent it anyway! Keep on planning - time flies when you've got a toucan on the fridge!

Went into the butchers to get our mince and ham and a couple of other bits and £17.23 later I should now have all we need apart from fresh stuff and milk. (now where have I heard that before?!) Anyway, with this place I'll be sure to be keeping an eye on what's being spent rather than just letting it get out of hand!!

Off to sort out my kitchen cupboards now!

Can I please be added onto the list. Its my first challenge being a newbie and all, so I am quite excited... I am going to aim for £200 in June for me, hubby, 12 yr old (bottomless pit) son and 1yr old baby. I will be really impressed if I can do it.
