searching_me I have started my xmas shopping already lol. Much better to spend a little each month than loads in one go in November. I also buy birthday presents in advance if there is a special offer. DD1 is 2 next saturday and I had all her pressies done (yet to be wrapped) by Feb.2 adults and 3 children DD (14), DD (12) & DS (10) :smileyhea and 2 mental beagles.

Took the kids to Lakeside today to browse the sales. I spent £35 on new clothes for me, but feel justified as they are the first new clothes I have got since the jan sales in 2007!
I also popped in the ELC, they have lots of their craft sets and books in the sale, many half price so I stocked up my gift box. As dd is starting nursery next term and already has her first party invite, I thought it was a good idea. I spent £66, but got £120 of goods.
Did my Monthly Mr A shop, spent £63.95. This also included charcoal for my Birthday bbq.
Worth checking out the book people online for kids presents-often book sets at 10/12 books for £10- great to be split for presents, I always have some in a drawer for nursery presents. :-)(Family of 5: 2 adults & 3 children aged 7yrs, 4yrs, and 18months)0 -

Just to update my sig, got to add £31 to the total, only got £11 till the end of the month
. After I set my budget I realised that £47 of it would be going on school dinners, so although I've included I knew it would be really difficult to comne in under budget, hopefully will only be about £20 over. Still at least £130 less than I spent last month
