I got a nice book from the library last week and it has a website attached. It's aimed at students and singles and has a vegetarian book as well as a frugal one. I made the chorizo and butterbean stew from it. It may offer some interest to you. (I will post this on the live on £4000 challenge too as I visit both of these threads) https://www.beyondbakedbeans.com

    Hi everyone
Feel as if I've not been on for ages - will try and catch up with as many posts as poss when I've done this, DD poorly so grabbing the chance on here while she is sleeping. Have spent £174 of budget so far, will have to go to m&s for chicken etc this weekend, Have spent a lot on other things too this month - holiday balance, ticket for John Edwards, day at a pricey spa (Nov) for a colleagues retirement  yep it's been a tough month, at least we're doing ok grocery wise. Anyway back for some inspiration as I've not even been baking :o been munching on the 'crispy bites' from aldi. Hope everyone is well.
