Morning!
NSD's so far this week, we are still eating our way through the cauliflower cheese made with one of the huge caulis we got at the car boot sale (2 huge ones for £1.50) I have to cook the other one up soon, does anyone know if you can freeze cauliflower cheese? Couldn't face eating it for 4 days running! :rotfl:Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

Cauli cheese is great frozen, what about making a maceroni and cauli bake with bacon, mushrooms as an alternative.
I also made cauli cheese grills with mashed potato, spring onions, mustard and parmesan /cheddar made into patties, chilled and frozen in greaseproof paper great to get out and cook in 30 mind.
Hope this helps with the cauli problem.

Morning all!
just popped on to update my sig.
I have spent a whopping £172.47 out of my £290 budget this month already! however I have stocked up well as I'm going away for a week and leaving DH in charge of the food:rolleyes: I thought if I stocked up well he wouldn't need to do any shopping and spend unneccessarily!
I think it will be a struggle this month but will try my hardest to keep in budget.
good luck to you all!;)Do what you love :happyhear0 -
Morning all, very glum and windy here ,just as well as ive not got to go out today hence a NSD. my fridge and freezer are so jam packed i dont think im gonna manage to use all the fresh stuff before it goes off.im gonna be eating salad and quiche till it comes out my earholes, ive already frozen one and kept another in the frigde for me and oh, but instead of haveing this for his lunches hed prefer sandwhiches, just like he metioned that we never have any snacks in the frigde, i try telling him that the cupboards and fridge/freezer are bursting surely you can find something, so by his request i got him some srolls and scotch eggs....and guess what, theyve not been touched. I told him that the stuff in the fridge needs using first else it will go off,his reply'oh well',.maybe it time i tried to convert him to a MSE!!!:rolleyes:always on the lookout for a bargin always better when its free!!:T0

Hi all
2 NSD's in a row for me but not today as I am off to the hairdressers, Mr T's & various other places so as not to waste the journey! I have a second Mr M voucher burning a hole in my pocket (already used one in Mr M this week) so will spend that in Mr T plus a load of MOCs if I can get away with it. Trouble is I use my calculator as I go round to spend the £30 min, then press the wrong button & lose the entire total!! Then have to start from the beginning grrrr.. Will also check out M&S for any bargains, you never know.
Had a lovely meal last night of HM tortillas with spicy chicken, made with 2 chicken breasts, a soft onion, 2 whoopsied peppers & an ancient pkt of tortilla seasoning; 3 avocados looking very manky (cut off the black bits & made HM guacamole), fresh yog & grated cheese. One complaint from them - I only made 6!! That's 2 each but they got out some old tacos & ate those as well with the rest of the chicken....
Also this morning went into greenhouse & cut mixed salad leaves, lettuce & rocket for DD's sandwich plus chives to flavour her cottage cheese. Still need to plant stuff out but it has rained overnight so maybe I will get a chance today...New start JAN15 - NOT BUYING IT 2015 . It was me that posted about the M&S whoopsies, it seems kind of random? I was in at 2pm and they had loads:D Its not on a specific shelf either, just in with all the usual stuff which is nice. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
