Now anyone with 1/2 a brain knows that the loo rolls are stood on to enable you to reach the bargains more easily. Why else would you need that extra 2 inches of height?
Tea was lush- had it with bagguette and fresh salad leaves. Followed by twinks.
Tonight it will be potato cakes with shredded cabbage. I'll get it ready as I get home in the morning so I can just shove it in the fridge when I start the school run. Then I can come straight home to bed. I've got a ward meeting at 2pm so will have to be up at 1 to 1.20. Then I'm back in tonight eurgh.
Anyhoo, also going to have the stroganoff and salad bits.
DD is going in with french stick sarnies today because we noticed tonight that her front tooth is actually through but her milk took still hasn't come out. Worried that she'll end up with a big overbite (which will give us a big orthodontist bill later in life!) or that they'll need to yank it out.
Amazing really as she's been trying to knock it out since she grew the darn thing! did you add any dried milk? i usually add a couple of tablespoons to thicken it up....either that, or the yogurt that you put in to make it wasn't 'live' anymore?
mine sometimes goes thick, then other days it stays like milk......still haven't figured out what i'm doing wrong cos i do it the same way every time!!0 -

Well Inearly managed a no spend day yesterday. I jist had to buy a carton of milk for DD for school (cookery/domestic science, whatever they call it these days!!!) So I spent about 40p. But that was excellent for me, coz I normally can't go in a shop and just buy the one item. I did cheat and got the milk when I got my petrol, so I didn't really have time to go hunting for something to much on etc. I didn't even get a paper (iI'm a real newspaper addict...)
I'm really pleased so far this month, only spent £50.40 and we're a third of the way through!!!GE 36 *MFD may 2043

I'm making curry to night thanks to Mr A's 4p curry lol seen a few jars when I went shopping sat so picked up a few more, its the left pork of the roast so will chuck all that in the slow cooker later today and make that with boiled rice or nice rice in the childrens case (rice cooked in a chicken stock cube)

NSD again today, having hm pie with veg, don't need anything not going to the shops because that is lethal, will make do with what I have:D
Yesterday I went to boots and ended up buying a load of toothbrushes for 25p each in the bargain bucket and whitening toothpaste for 95p, completely not what I went for but will do for the future:D0 -
Ive found with my easiyo yog maker that if this happens I need to sterilise the jars. All I do is a v weak solution of bleach top it up with boiling water and leave it to soak for 20 mins then wash up as normal. Also give the large flask thing the same treatment.
Then the next few batches of yog turn out fine again.
Might be worth a try and if you have that baby steriliser stuff that would work too:D
Well I will be having a NSD today, decided to bike to work last night for my pilates class, OMG ! its 8 miles there and 8 miles back but I got lost on the way there (decided to follow the back roads as thought it would be safer) after 3 massive hills and getting lost I came back via the normal way took 1hour 15 going and 50 mins coming back. Don't think I'm quite ready to do that daily for work:o I feel very bruised where you shouldn't feel bruised:o so will stay in and do some cross stitch and feel sorry for myself:rotfl:
Going to try Jamies bacon and courgette pasta for tea with my first homegrown and picked courgette:T
Quite enjoying this weeks leave definitely seem to have picked a very good week to be off work:D
Hugs to those that need them and :T to all with good news/being on budgetJune Grocery Challenge 270.80/250July Grocery Challenge 0/3000 -
