    Good Afternoon all :)
Wow where has the morning gone???
Updated sig as did shopping in Aldi this morning for the few bits i needed, i did stray from my list slightly but they were bits i needed but forgot to write down......so spend was 14.77 + 7.72 on new baking tray, silicone loaf tin, freezer bags and greaseproof paper.
I think i will just about stay in budget but i have bought some stuff that i wouldn't normally buy to get my baking on the go so won't need them next month ofcourse.

MrsM Your potio looks fantastic....very inspiring :)

Thanks for clearing up the squashed loo roll thing, don't know why i didn't think of that...doh!! :o

Anyway must get on with the housework....nearly done :T

Have a good day everyone :D
May GC £350/ spent so far

    family life = 2 adults DS x3 & DD1 + dog :)
  • Just spent an hour in the garden with my Mum., I mentioned that we had a spare raised bed and that we might try to row some veg. Mum went to her allotment shop to see what plants they had in and left with a load of freebies from an order that wasn't collected. Yay! :j

I've now got two 2 rows of beetroot, 4 potatoes, 2 carrots, 3 lettuce, 2 onion, 2 leeks, a couple of courgette plants, a few tomato plants and a few rows of peas. :D

    Mums are fab!

I am going to spend the afternoon making a potato pie and some mash for the freezer. I've got 1/2 a sack of potatoes that need using up.

I have managed another two days of NS. We have not kept exactly to the mnu plan as we are still eating left over party food from Saturday. Does anyone have any good ideas of what I can do with chicken drumsticks and pork ribs? We have had them with jacket potatoes, soup and chicken sandwiches.

Disaster struck last night, dh managed to drop a very large cookbook on my scales and broke them

He gave me the money for some new ones, which I got this morning and have now been christened. I got them in Mr A, but left without getting anything else.

I needed to, I have a new parents evening for dd tonight. She's due to start nursery in September and I've just been sent the uniform list  . I wouldn't mind, but the smallest size they stock is age 3 - 4. She's so tiny, 2-3 falls off her, so not only will she look ridiculous, but I'm going to be charged £60 for the privillege.
Thanks to all the lovely people on here I have managed to cut my hours down to 2 days a week, allowing me to spend more time with my gorgeous Children. :j

incase you didnt no they dont actually have to wear school uniform in nursery or even primary school by law. i know it looks cute and inkeeping but you will find more than half the nursery children will where old clothes that they can get paint on etc. might be worth saving the pennies til the next year.

mrs mc your potio looks amazing!! :T i've got spuds, carrots, lettuces, beetroots and spring onions so i'm just a weakling compared to you!!

just popped in to update my sig. went to Mr T's this morning, just for some mushrooms and peppers cos they're on offer at the mo. so i spent ages chopping them all up to freeze this morning.
had a good day baking as well....chelsea buns, choc chip muffins (now in freezer) and my first go at millie's cookies

then the post came and i spent the rest of the morning trying to sort a flipping letter out that came from dwp. i've posted about it here if anyone can offer me any help. you can pm me if you've got any advice cos i'm going out of my mind with worry

anyway, hope you're all having a good day xx
