Hi Guys
I'm still 10 pages behind on here, but decided to post now and catch up later!
My challenge is looking a bit scarey - spent almost 2/3rds of the budget and I still have until 20th to go before the hols - and have to stock up for DD while we're away.
We're buying lots more salad stuff at the moment and it does seem to make the overall shopping more expensive, most of the seed I've planted are coming along very s l o w l y although my spinach is doing very well- it'll probably be ready for picking when I'm on hols in a couple of weeks  .
Hugs/thanks/congratulations if you need them (delete as appropriate) till I can do a more specific post.0 -
Well I'm back from visiting my sister. My grocery challeneg budget is going really badly! I'll update my sig now so you can all point and laugh. My little holiday was good but when I got back I found out one of my guinea pigs had died (he was old but it was still unexpected) our pigsitter had put him in a box with some hay though so he looked peaceful at least (ok now you all think I'm a crazy person)
Had a job interview yesterday, thought it went really bad but I GOT IT!! found out today! Then I went to call people to let them know and BT have cut my phoneline! or blocked outgoing calls anyway because one payment bounced! seems a bit extreme to me. ANyway they are now demanding 180 pounds (it was the connection fee which I'd set up a payment plan for then forgot to actually pay it..doh)so they'll have to wait two and a half weeks until my bf gets paid. So i'm now without a phone until then! so all in all its been a weird few days.
Now I'm going to catch up on all the posts I've missed on here!May Grocery Challenge -£216/4000 -

I got 12 pints of milk for 3 pounds(sorry pound sign not working) all safely stashed in freezer, lots of yummy rolls and fruit loaf and quiche all down to 50p each:beer: Spent 15.72 but think i did quite well:D Mr T shopping coming tonight so going to be really tight towards the end of the month:oThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Couple hours - I'd chuck in an onion and a couple carrots and a bit of celery too if you've got to add to flavour.
Will make a great base for leek & pot soup.;)26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073
