Morning! I am *so* boring when it comes to tea - English breakfast with no milk in. Couldnt seem to get hold of it in Germany when I went last month to visit my bessie mate, and I was .... on tenterhooks, lets say!
The gardening - ooh, I wish I could join in. My time in the garden is more on the level of destruction at the mo - I spent an hour and a half outside yesterday, but it was all about clearing the path to the front door and chopping up branches that I'd already sawn off - "overgrown" doesn't begin to cover it for my garden. But I *do* have a windowbox made ready with drainage stones, and a few herb pots that need planting, so I could do that.... and I bought a basil plant yesterday for inside the house.
Just a thought, seriously: I always, always overwater basil or whatnot, how do people water indoor things? Do you water on certain days? Sorry for the hijack Bob, but there are knowledgeable people here!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Morning Bob! Hmm favourite tea.. I love Earl Grey... but really the only kind I don't like are herbal ones which are too sweet, things with vanilla in etc.
My garden is doing quite well - I don't have any beans to measure though!
KC - not very helpful but I tend to water by look/ feel after growing herbs for a few years, they certainly don't need it every day - probably every other day if you've got them on a really hot sunny windowsill but otherwise I would say only when the soil feels dry, and just give them a little bit at a time.

I love earl grey as well, and i like english breakfast tea, most of the twinings range as well...but i just stick to cheapo tea for indoors, as well as my herbal teas. I have a lemon balm plant which i make teas from as well..or should i call them infusions?
Hope you have a good day as well.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
