Morning Bob,
Runner beans, exfriends and dead neighbours...An emotional time hunny.
(ok, that was an attempt to be funny-sorry if it hits a strange note..)
I love hearing about your garden, I would really love to do the same...Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
Hi Bob, sorry to hear you've had an up and down few days, but I'm very pleased to hear about your garden and all the green-fingered things you are doing-tending to this should keep you smiling!
We're trying beans for the first time this year and they are racing up the canes, so on that note - I challenge you to a runner bean competition! Who can grow the longest runner?! What do you say?!

Thankyou, wonderful bunch that you are...i have decided you are all my virtual neighbors, so i can feel ok when i camp on your doorstep with a cup of tea. Which is spookily what i am doing now..before i put tea on.:coffee:
Mr.B has been an angel today, ringing me up and bought me a cup of tea before he went to work.:D
I have been to grans today, and have done her shopping, didnt spend too long though as i am running around like some headless chicken today. Have done my own shopping and picked up prescriptions for daughter.
We have paid for hols today as well..hmmm, they rang with an offer of an upgrade, which would cost us an extra £155, for a three bedroomed two bathroomed caravan. having been in one of these a couple of weeks ago, i decided it was worth it as they are luxurious and will stave off arguments from teenagers. I decided to put extra monies earned from ebay, and amazon to it and hopefully will be further offset by interest saved on 0% cards.
Completed two surveys and have had a win on the horses this afternoon, its not matched betting ..but hey every little helps. i put one on for gran and me. Don't know how much it is yet.
So on the gardening front, i am up for a competition(QB) and will happily measure away. I was watching a recording of gardeners world, so am now armed with tools for mahoosive runner beans...and turnips of course.:j
bunny please dont fret over funny, you have a similar sense of humour to me...:D
Isom, glad its not just me vis a vis mates, and excitement on gardening. Just a word of warning on young bob, make sure he knows that escaping isnt a regular thing..if he starts on your chianti and making ffffff noises at the cats..:rotfl: :rotfl:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
