Just a small update, have sold another book for a £5, so not too shabby, but not as good as last week.

Well looks like i am going to be looking for another job to last me through the summer, and the work takes off again. My work seems to have dried up, and i am thinking that i could maybe do a sales job in order to get lots of loverly commision.
I have a friend who does lots of catalogue and deliveries, that one sounds ok as well...any other suggestions?

Also the Pontins thing...hmm well this isnt going to happen now. Should have gone tonight, but due to lack of takers was getting harder to motivate myself to go. I tried to give it away to my friends daughter who has two toddlers. I rung up Pontins and they said yes at first, just needed ages got back to them and they said no as i had won it in a comp, and folk had been selling them. Now call me stupid, but i explained no monies had changed hands, and surely it was more profitable to have someone go rather than no one? But they wouldn't budge...so that's it. I had a mooch on other threads and folk seem to think we could have got away with just the ref no, but i didn't want to be responsible for little ones crying if they couldn't have a break..just my luck they would have checked.Plus if anything goes wrong..who could the have complained to? bloomin minefield it is.

I booked myself in for a local author's talk tonight to cheer myself up. she is called Vera Waters and is very inspirational..so i am looking forward to that, and i will raid piggy bank to buy her new book...i know, but i have got rid of loads..

Have quite a bit to do today, as in more job applications sent off and ringing around to find extra work...so will catch you all later.
