Well nearly good morning everyone. A quick update.
Went for my interview this morning and was very good. It is not a permanent thing but an as and when sort of teaching, obviously children aren't ill for my convenience!! So she was over the moon that i had rung her and am duly on the books. I have a training day in July as well, at the hospital so it should be fun.
I have also been given nos for contacting other teaching extras, as in extra learning for children in care etc. so hopefully that will be ok as well.
On the debt busting front have applied for and got another 0% card, so i will be able to start shifting stuff around as numpty that i am, i realised my Argos 0% deal is about to finish and i have to get that sorted smartish before they lump the interest on. So everything then should be on 0%.
Money has been transferred into my account from sales of stuff, so that should also either go off cards or towards holiday which has to be paid for by the 21st.
I also found an extra £200 which was owed me for a tax rebate, so have sent off forms for them. so in all i think i have an extra £400 this month from stuff after expenses have been paid out. I wish it came in all at once, but hey that's life...just goes to show how much you can find if necessary.
Right off to have a quick mooch then earn another crust.
Hope everyone is well and catch you all later.

Well done on the job Bob! :T
Did that test thingy last night and I was a INFJ, which didn't particularly surprise me, although I would say I'm borderline on the F and the J. Some interesting descriptions here - http://similarminds.com/jung/infj.html - don't totally agree with them (e.g. I would say I was competitive!) but the career recommendations are nearly all things I would like to do! That'll be why I have an interview for a boring admin job tomorrow then!
Sounds good on the money front - 0% is great!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
HEY squizz, those are good descriptors, and i agree with a lot of them. SO i am a fantasizing individual who like loneliness as well...hmmm good occupation for a BOB!
so i could test porno sites for a living, write a sitcom, star in my very own educating Rita ..with subtitles.......or revert back to the oldest profession!
I could never support the marijuana, one though as i have never smoked and not even inhaled....although it does say i can be attracted to sad things. maybe thats why i married mr.b, although as i am a moody so and so, maybe it is the other way? Or maybe i am second guessing myself? arrrrrghhhhh brain overload.
I am also quite competeitive..should see me in a chess comp...nerds beware!!!Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Is this basically the Myers-Briggs test?
I did it at work, (can't remember what me letters were) the end description was scarily accurate
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
Morning Bob hun, great news on the hospital job & good luck with finding/earning more pennies. Squizz another introvert huh ? What's that about birds of a feather etc ? Going to get hair highlighted this pm so that should make me feel better hopefully.Might just have to have a link at that new link squizz posted. Hmm ......Later XXNothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. William James0

It's funny you know - I was looking at the silly 'Likeness' thing on Facebook (where you do quick quizzes and it compares with your friends answers to tell you how alike you are) and I'm more like the DFW people I've got on there than the vast majority of my other friends. Then again I suppose we must have similarities to have got into debt and to want to get out of it!
The most accurate description I ever read of myself was a thing we got at Uni about being a perfectionist and what problems it can cause, e.g. putting off starting things because you're scared you won't do them 'perfectly' and then ending up not doing well at them because you've left them to the last minute - or as that link I put up earlier puts it - "perfectionist, can sabotage self"
Bob - we should never play each other at chess then! Me and OH thought it would be a good idea to play cos we both like it, very bad idea!
So.. this new job of yours in a sitcom about testing porno sites.... :rotfl:Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
