Hello everyone, quickie update, as have to nip out again.
Been busy in the old country, no i didnt suffer from alcohol withdrawel, wish i had though..not enough to withdraw from...buummm......
sold three things on fleabay and another on amazon...about £20 profit after expenses. wwooohhoooo, holiday fund looking up.
The internet has now been reconfigured, as really thought it needed doing so was off yesterday whislt sorted out. Have been a bit busy colecting for neighbour. We got about £35, for either some flowers or they can put to something else. We just collected off folk who would know her,not many of them around. Do you know it was lovely talking to everyone, it took us ages as we had to have tea, and a look at alterations on houses etc...A sad but really nice time.
so there you are folks, oh and runner beans are now 12" cor, mr.b will have runner bean envy....tehehe, and El dont worry about chucking em out, they will grow in anything, mine are going out as soon as i get some troughs. Have also been eying up fruit trees today at garden centre, well the chap who sorts em, a girl can admire!!! CAtch you later.x

Hi Bob...those runner beans are going to be ginormous!!!!...sounds like the chinwag with neighbours did you good though in sad circumstances.Well done on the profits xx

I definately have bean envy - mine got munched by f++++ slugs...if they didnt gross me out so much I'd do weezl slug curry as a special treat on Sat lol!! Think I'd puke though!!
Lovely re the flowers...always good to chat to people and take the time...so much of what is mssing today could so easily be repaired wih a chat & TLC me thinks....

My slugs seem to have got the message at the moment, mind i pick em up and throw them in next doors, lets see em crawl back after that, plus i still stamp on them and use sodium chloride, daren't use the 's' word again ....shhhh!

Yes it was really nice to catch up with the older neighbours, and do you know there was no one who refused. It's like they said it would show the neighborhood up, if a mark of respect wasn't shown. We didnt knock on the doors of some of the newer neighbours as reckoned they wouldn't know her, and would feel akward.

Hmm slug curry, not too sure about that! Not actually had any slugs here, plenty of snails though.. one took a very impressive flight into next door's garden yesterday :rotfl:

Yep finding it very easy at the moment because there are a lot on line. Just make sure on the letter that names of schools are changed. They all want personal letters, but have found that they dont really, IYKWIM, so i just send out much of the same, usually has a good chance of interview.
letting out trade secrets there, as there are only so many ways you can write a personal philosophy of education...and what else can you add about what you can offer their school?
