    I know - I'd be happy if they just invested more wages in me at the moment! Local government things seem to have done away with 'education' in favour of 'learning', apparently education sounds too elitist...?

    That's what irritates me about courses now - they're all "training".

    Part of the job description, sorry 'person specification' for this job I'm applying for is "ability to understand current local authority and Government policies, initiatives, legislation and guidance"... yeah, as if that's humanly possible! :rolleyes: :p

    Oo getting close to the knuckle there young Miggy. I am 5'3" so as you can see a bit on the short side.:D But i have no problems with control, hence the Napolean comment.:D

    They're easy to understand. They're for the extraction of the most amount of money with the least amount of fallout, combined with spending the most amount of money on personal pet projects with the least amount of fallout.

    Well just a tiny update today.

    I have sold a few small things on fleabay, and made about £15 profit after expenses. I was looking at how i have been making the extra this month, and was wondering why i am still skint. I know about the holiday extra payment, but bloomin eck!

    Will have to go through online banking with fine tooth comb, as i am sure there must have been something else going out without me knowing.

    And an update on the beans..my 12" has wilted a bit, i think he has been knocked over, and has lost his edge....still there are a couple of 10" ones waiting in the wings.

    Had an e mail confirming one of my applications has been recieved. first one back, very unusual for the school to do that as they don't usually acknowledge, so hopefully good news.

    so i am now going to list a few more things and see how that pans out.
