I need a kick up the rear jacksy every now and then, Blackadder style of course...so motivational boots most welcome...as are the comments..keep em coming!:rotfl: :rotfl:
Motivational boots sound like a good idea.. I'd like some with a nice chunky heel and a bit of a platform... errr yes, anyway, hello Bobster, sounds like a busy day. Good news on the email, I got a similar one from council but I suspect it's an automated thing.. gosh interviews sound tricky with those obscure questions.. I'd have been tempted to answer that one in Father Jack style - "that would be an ecumenical matter!" :rotfl:Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

totally crass attempt at irish accent written down....Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Ooh I lurve Father Ted. One of those shows that you can watch again and again and still laugh. Like Blackadder and Fawlty Towers.Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. William James0

One of my favourites is the episode with Eoin McLove - "Oi smell wee... it's this one, this one smells of wee" :rotfl:Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Cripes, well i've found the money and bloody hell, blistering, festooned, rotten turnips..................
Well in a way, MR.B is indirectly responsible, as his petrol bill was over £450 last month................shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittttttttttttttttttttteeeeeeeeeeeeee.
so where does that put me?Plus there were sundry expenses for various things like tea bill, parking, get well pressie, the odd dinner etc. When i added it all up..well i can tell you i am not happy. some of this is essential expenditure because he has to work, but when a big chunk of wages is going on said work...nuff said.
Plus he has paid out in other things so the £500 is looking closer to the £1000..something has to give, or we will not be able to eat next month. As it is out of the joint account.
so i have put a few remedial strategies in place. I have told him to get a cashminder account, 1 card..no overdraft and a set amount transferred. Tough shiitiitttt if he can't manage on it. He will have to look at alternatives.
I have reduced larger bills, such as council tax etc. found i was owed some money to the tune of £400 and a few extra savings, well we may just get it back yet.
Mr.B's car is on HP, now he has paid half exactly in august, so i am thinking he can legally give it back in August. We can manage with one car, and if necessary he can catch the train..as my job is all over in various schools. I am in a quandry about it as we need one car at least and mine is very cheap to run, and on 0% but if necessary that can go as well....My insurance is at the moment 10.12 per month, cheap because i was on PAYG insurance, and they have just stopped it and that is my flat rate..taxed until October, and no MOT as it is less than 3 years old. It is smaller as it is a Nissan Micra.... i am all of a nither at the moment because it has really got to me.
On the other front i am steadily working my way through the list.

money found/or not as the case may be?
Tax credit forms sorted cue the lack of surprise at paltry amount coming back!
Found i was owed money on family allowance, stopped to early on DS1 birthday, so that is coming back, luckily i spotted the letter and was in time to backdate it.
Money transferred, so bit of breathing space there..job applications next, and think i may have sorted out a summer job.........but not sure yet.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

That's some petrol bill....just for getting to work and unfortunately fuel will go up further....I would look into getting rid of the car if you can get him to work cheaper..I agree with you keeping you car as you don't work in a static place. Can he do a car share?....get a bus or whatever...Is he doing loads of unnecessary miles?...then also on top you have insurance etc.Hope you have got the summer job.0

Well Bob you will have to move nearer to the big city,( and therefore nearer to ME !
)to cut OH petrol bill. Off course I am not suggesting this for purely selfish reasons

It may be an option yet El!!
We are still discussing a lot, i haven't resorted to choice language yet, so in that respect he knows i mean business.
his answer to the aboive, i will have to get a job nearer home!Hmm, now as i did his last cv, and application form, guess who will be looking for a job for him?? I have managed an extra £560, shaved off this month through a lot of swapping around. Who said Chorley borough counciL is rubbish? They put our ctax, on 12 months so a saving of over £25 per month...lovely folk. But basically my wage has gone up the swanny.
So anyone want to buy a used turnip going cheap?Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
