Flipping heck! Took ages to catch up!! Great re the cakes...I used to make em and know how long they take plus how much they cost! Def ask for reasonable price me lovely - dont do yourself down :) Beautiful they is! Do you get dyes to g in the paste for the flowers IYKWIM? I used to have all the kit but as with many of my hobbies got bored & gave it all away to someone in need! Sort of regretted it after!!
Good that OH stil on board and DS paid rent money! Sounds like its all going o there but do look after yourself and make sure you get some fun time - this debtbusting is exhausting and you do need to look after yourself in it!!

  • Thanks, me and my mate have all the dyes between us, so not too bad on that front. I use a mix, and quite like the powdered ones as very easy to mix in. If i am making the flowers, sometimes i paint the dye on and water it down to get different effects, and use some fairy dust on..allsorts of ways really.
The one thing i am short of though are the leaf printers, i have used real ones in the past, suitably sterilised and keep meaning to buy some.

Hi Bob, think it's great that you're thinking about selling your cakes, they are fab. Have you thought about teaching cake making? You already know how to teach and it always seems to be indemand...

Just noticed that the GNR only has charity places left so that does mean committing yourself to earning a certain amount. I would definitely recommend walking as exercise to anyone - I get a bit evangelical about it at times :o - although it does take a lot of time to do long distances, it's great thinking time, you get to explore places you haven't seen before, and it's good for your thighs!!
