is this still a good company to switch to?

I use them, have had a good experience with them.

Meters read on the 24th November bill arrived today.

Even with the price rise in october. A bill that covered 95 days electric £49.61 (362 units)and for the same period of gas £15.78(42 units)

    Yours

  • I have just had this quarter`s bill from ebico and have worked out the actual saving I will make by transferring to BG click 6, electricity only. I have included the dd allowance. My saving on this one bill will be £15

My transfer will take place on 23rd dec

I am really over the moon as our total gas plus electricity bill this quarter is £91.11. This is really good for 2 of us in a 3 bed townhouse all day and I can only put it down to the remoska and the ecocamel, as well as the low energy (expensive) biobulbs which I have had for 3 years now. We are warm and cosy and I cook and bake every single day so no discomfort at all

When I did a comparison just last week, any other company will cost me over £200 per year more for dual fuel, but if I switched just my leccy I can save a massive £9 per year, not worth my effort just to get £9 and confusing bills

So I am sticking with Ebico

I have just been viewing my bills onlineand it would seem that I amnot going through Ebico anymore.
my bills would say Equipower but it says Southern Electric instead now I think its because I went onto the care package, this is my bill for 6 months, which isn't that bad actually,

Good figures, Ice, best I've seen.
For the Aprl 1 to 1 Aug period equates to 8.50pence electric and 2.29pence for gas.
As against (for Norfolk) 13.75pence electric and 3.77 for gas Ebico.
    Merry Christmas.

I assume you are on pre-pay meters? and your meters are not set to pay back debt?

Firstly if you are using £65 a week on gas, that is 1,724kWh a week - which is absolutely huge for any house - let alone a end terrace.

You really need to get someone in to look at your insulation.

Secondly you should not be with Ebico for electricity with that sort of consumption(£30 a week is over 200 kWh) Ebico is very expensive for electricity unless you are a very low user(gas is better - but not the best).

You really need to cut back on your electricity consumption as you are using 3 times the national average.

No matter who you are with, your costs will be huge with that sort of consumption.
  • no we are not paying any debt back ive phoned ebico as i think there is a fault with metter but they said they can send someone round but if no fault is found it will cost me £150. weve had the house checked and we are recomended to have cavity wall isulation but also we have a 3 foot voide under the floors down stairs and if i lay on the floor ill freeze ive put hardboad down and underlay but didnt help much .
